Governor Hochul ignored repeated warnings about this transition, and the results have been devastating: workers have gone unpaid, consumers have lost services, and thousands of New Yorkers have been harmed. The courts are currently finalizing a $160 million wage theft settlement against PPL.

And now, her failed rollout is drawing federal scrutiny and putting New York’s home care system at even greater risk.

The Governor created this crisis. She has a responsibility to fix it. End the PPL monopoly, restore community-based FIs, and protect CDPAP before more damage is done. Thank you.”
