Why do you appreciate unions?
I’ll start:
Weekends off
Paid vacations
Work breaks
Sick leave
Paid holidays
No child labor
Safer working conditions
Health care and retirement benefits
How come Al is inevitable and we need to adapt and accept it, but renewable energy, tackling microplastics and restoring ecosystems are framed as stupid and inconvenient? The gaslighting from the 1% is top tier.
Starbucks has violated labor law more than any company in modern history and has been delaying contract negotiations for nearly 5 years. I’m proud to stand with Starbucks workers.
Every worker deserves wages they can live on, strong benefits, and a voice on the job. It’s time for Starbucks to finally negotiate in good faith.
I still think about the guy who pointed out that "the underlying purpose of Al is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth." Rarely have I seen Al described so succinctly.
maybe i haven’t been paying close enough attention but i haven’t really seen any dems campaigning on bringing food safety regulations back, feels like a slam dunk
Wanna know why 42% of cancer patients in America deplete their life savings within 2 years?
Well, maybe it has something to do with the greed of Big Pharma charging over $400,000 for new cancer drugs.
That’s insane. Getting cancer in America shouldn’t cause you to go bankrupt.
There's something deeply broken about a system where teachers have to buy their own supplies but billionaires get tax breaks for buying rockets. We can afford space tourism but not crayons. The priorities are completely backwards.
Let's be clear about what DOGE actually accomplished:
✓ Cut cancer research
✓ Gutted veteran programs
✓ Axed aid to farmers
✓ Weaponized Social Security
✓ Slashed humanitarian aid
✓ Made Elon Musk $8 million a day
That's cruelty disguised as “efficiency."
