For a normally transparent Public Works department to make up plans on the fly represents a big departure for Minneapolis’ approach to transportation. Even if you like the changes, which water down safety on the new street, the process is a red flag. https://t.co/eYQ6tO7meT
New survey from @MetroTransitMN. I'm told it will be pretty influential on decisions made to retool the network in coming years, with post-COVID travel patterns in mind.

@eeewade Sure, I can see that argument too. Like Nice Ride the nonprofit would have struggled to infuse the system with the cash needed to do dockless without Lyft, but then foundations stopped seeing it as a purely a social good with a corporation operating it. Tough any way u slice.
@eeewade I feel like people are hopping on the City's back with their sadness about Nice Ride leaving, and I get it; but I think we should not obscure the fact that the private sector, yet again, is the one that fucked it up. We had something nice and Lyft broke it.

I'm so proud to have a visionary movement builder like CM Aisha in our corner at City Hall. Her campaign launch was packed with people from each cause she's advanced in the term so far - packed!
Got a couple bucks you can put towards supporting her work? ⬇️
