@dcsheriff I had this exact scenario in my courtroom recently and rewarded the young man for sticking around and doing the right thing. Good job to Sergeant Mithuen!
@dinosaurfuggit@dcsheriff The grass fire was kept to a small area because of the swift response of all firefighting resources including the helicopter. As a homeowner in the area I am damn thankful they put this thing out swiftly before any further damage was done!
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

@SportsPatriotUS It's a shame that this type of analysis was not provided when @BeckyHammon was capable of revolutionizing the league the same way Clark can now.
🚔 Seat belts save lives, it’s that simple. During the Click It or Ticket campaign, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is reminding every driver and passenger to buckle up every trip, every time.
Whether you're heading to work, school, the mountains, or just across town, wearing your seat belt is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself and your loved ones. Seat belt laws are in place to help reduce serious injuries and fatalities on our roads.
No excuses. No distractions. Click it or ticket.
We know traffic has been incredibly tough lately, but please remain calm out there!
Over the past few months, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has responded to several severe road rage incidents…including situations where drivers have actually pointed weapons at one another.
Before you react, take a deep breath. It is never worth going to jail, getting hurt, or shooting someone over traffic frustrations. If you choose to let your anger get the best of you and threaten others on the road, we will track you down and arrest you.
A huge thank you to the Castle Rock Police Department for always being alert, proactive, and ready to assist in keeping our community safe.
Let's look out for each other and get home safely. Drive smart, stay calm!
