Different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity.
I think the guy flipping burgers at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That’s kind of the whole point of having a job and I can’t believe this is considered a radical position for me to take.
It’s actually crazy how you grow up thinking home-cooked meals every day are just normal, then get older and realise how much time and effort it took your Mom to make that happen and how lucky you were to have that.
“Paramedics rushed to her home found her dying of critical injuries.” It’s her husband - not just any man. Her husband has been charged with her murder. His own children now without a mother. RIP Hannah Cain. 💔
The standard of childcare becomes the SAME then, regardless of area/type. You can’t have millionaires accessing FREE childcare from the most highest rated nurseries just because of geographical location or their social circle. Standard must become equal if free for all.
Just walked into Big Tesco and I'm absolutely DISGUSTED with what I saw.

DON’T YOU DARE TRY TO TAKE ARE CHRISTMAS AWAY FROM US!!!!! Explain yourself now! @Tesco
I don’t care if that girl snorted coke with one nostril, meth with the other, injected heroin, ate a mushroom, smoked a joint, and did a keg stand booty butt naked in front of the entire frat house—she did not deserve to be assaulted.
Its funny how 2 major cases are enough to scare men of marriage but when 1200 cases against women are recorded daily, suddenly they are told “not all men", hypocrisy is loud and clear.
the funny part is the books actually answer this Harry knew Ron’s family was poor, but he also understood that simply handing Ron money could make things worse..in Goblet of Fire, when Ron gets those ancient second hand dress robes, Harry literally thinks he would “willingly have split all the money in his Gringotts vault with the Weasleys,” but knew they would never take it. Ron’s insecurity about Harry’s wealth was already a real issue, the books repeatedly show Ron feeling uncomfortable about being the poor friend while Harry has inherited a fortune.
and Harry actually does find a workaround, after winning 1,000 Galleons in the Triwizard Tournament,he gives the entire prize to Fred and George to start their joke shop, with one specific condition: “buy Ron some different dress robes and say they’re from you.”
so Harry absolutely noticed Ron was struggling he just knew Ron’s pride would make a direct handout humiliating, that’s one of those details the movies underplay..Harry wasn’t oblivious to Ron’s poverty,he was trying to help without making Ron feel like a charity case.
Only a woman can write a scene like this bec this is exactly what women do in love and hope that men do for them. To be loved is to have someone listen to the song you mentioned, or watch a movie you like. Always the little things.
