She set off the reputational damage herself when she fled Nigeria amid accusations of financial wrongdoing under her watch, surrendering herself to trial in the court of public opinion. Even so, the charges from which she was acquitted in the UK differ from those she still faces in Nigeria.
The EFCC’s case against Diezani is a 13-count charge centred on money laundering, criminal conspiracy, and official corruption, and on these grounds properties belonging to her have been seized, a decision she is challenging from the comfort of her exile.
The UK charges, by contrast, were six bribery-related counts brought by the National Crime Agency, which alleged that she accepted bribes between 2011 and 2015 while serving as petroleum minister in exchange for awarding oil and gas contracts.
If you attended OOU between 2015 and 2020, you will be familiar with the Supreme Court case of Major Magaji v Nigerian Army. We knew the facts of the case like the back of our hands. Mr Osinibi used the case for “Offences against the order of nature”.
Guess what? The same Major Magaji is now a freeman and a university lecturer.
This country is gone.
Gentlemen, when someone misbehaves, do not react so angrily that your response overshadows the initial misbehaviour and now becomes the issue.
Don’t end up being the one needing to apologise when you were initially the victim of bad behaviour.
Be clear that you will not accept or tolerate the misbehaviour, but be measured in how you express your disapproval. This is especially important when you are in a position of authority over the other person. It is also especially important in your relationship with your woman.
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.
@WithBukky Sorry to say this, but the competition started in school, and you lagged behind. It was an equal and plain field for everybody. The competition didn't start outside school.
Many of the billionaires don't pay premium when hiring Nigerians. They pay peanuts & expect their entire existence to be about their work.
Compared to hiring Indians & Lebanese while paying them premium.
Even Dangote himself admitted that Nigerians are better than the Indians
I was shock, i'm pro polygamy but i don't understand why muslim men want to eat their cake and still have it.
You want to marry more than one, you refer to sunnah, women want to exercise their rights, you say they are thinking like they are in the 60's,so they must pay bills😂😂
There's nothing to celebrate on Children's Day when our children are still missing in the den of the terrorists! Toddlers, too!!! 💔💔💔💔
#BringBackOurChildren
There is nothing absolutely worth celebrating today..., We are no more talking about of children being the leaders of tomorrow.
Our kids are still under detention by the terrorists.
There lives matter, there future matters too!
#BringBackOurChildren#Children
As we celebrate Children’s Day in Nigeria, our hearts are also with the children who were abducted in Oyo State, and every child facing fear instead of freedom.
Every child deserves safety, joy, and a future filled with hope🥺
Not every Nigerian parent is celebrating Children’s Day today.
While some hold balloons, others still hold missing posters and broken hearts.
Bring our children home. 🇳🇬💔

During the Kaduna massacre, a Hausa man, a respected Muslim who didn’t know us kept me and my family hidden in his house.
When the murderers came to his house and asked if there were Christians there, he told them no one was there. He even said “Wallahi,” betraying his faith and risking his own life just to keep people he never knew safe.
I was only a girl, but I remember everything. When I got older, I went back to Kaduna to see him, but unfortunately, he had already passed away.
I did the best I could to show his family how much I appreciated what he did for me and my family.
You’d read stuff like this and think the Women she’s talking about are some primitive forms of life that only responds to external stimulus with no self governance or sense of morality.
You cannot rehabilitate a person that beheads a person.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that offs people for sport.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that kidnaps and rapes children.
FG says extension of 2025 budget implementation timeline delayed quarterly reports
The budget office says the delay in publishing quarterly budget implementation reports was due to the extension of the 2025 budget implementation timeline to June 2026.
According to Tanimu Yakubu, the director-general (DG), the repeal and re-enactment of the 2025 appropriation act in December last year also affected the publication timeline.
