@PopularLiberal It will be a Christian nation and all will bow the knee. The truth is all are flawed, every single person. Thank God the grace to put off what is behind; overcome our innate nature and allow us to press on toward Christlikeness.
The Patriot Front calls itself American, drapes itself in the flag, and marches under the word “patriot.” Then proudly display a cross. Every element of that presentation is foreign to America’s founding logic, foreign to the faith of the people it claims to represent, and demonstrably imported from America’s enemies.
America is nation constituted by covenant rather than descent. Membership was defined by assent to a proposition: that all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights, not by bloodline. Patriot Front’s claims America belongs to descendants of Europeans by blood, that citizenship and creed are irrelevant, and that the nation must be “reconquered” as an ethnostate. This isn’t a disagreement about policy; it’s a rejection of the thing that makes America a nation at all. Strip the covenant out of America and what remains isn’t a purified America, it’s Europe.
Their favorite rebuttal, that the founding era practiced slavery and restricted naturalization to whites collapses under historical context.
In 1776, slavery existed on every inhabited continent and had for millennia; it was the universal condition of the world, not an American invention.
What was new was not that Americans practiced it but that they founded a nation on principles that made it indefensible. Which is why the fought a civil war over it.
Frederick Douglass argued from the Declaration and Constitution, not against them, calling the Constitution a “glorious liberty document,” and why the nation spent blood and centuries closing the gap through abolition, the 14th Amendment, and beyond.
America’s distinction is not that it fell short, every nation on earth did, but that it wrote down the standard by which its own shortfall would be judged and paid for with the blood of 600,000 American lives.
The ideology’s spiritual pedigree is just as damning, because blood-and-soil nationalism is not merely un-American, it is un-Christian.
Its mysticism is neo-pagan: a 19th-century völkisch invention of occult race-worship, runes and Wotanism, ripened under the Nazis into Himmler’s SS solstice cults and Rosenberg’s “religion of the blood.”
Christianity teaches one human family from one creation, “neither Jew nor Greek,” a church drawn from every nation and tongue; blood-and-soil teaches that your ancestry is your ultimate identity and your race the object of ultimate loyalty. The churches that confronted it in Germany named it precisely: idolatry.
Men like Bonhoeffer died for saying it. The Nazis, for their part, agreed about the incompatibility and they tried to gut Christianity into an “Aryan” shell and planned its eventual replacement by the race religion.
A movement built on that foundation cannot claim the heritage of a people whose civic creed invokes the Creator and whose pews it hopes to recruit from. It asks Christians to trade their God for their bloodline.
Blood-and-soil is a German import, the doctrine of a regime America crossed an ocean to destroy at the cost of four hundred thousand of its sons.
Patriot Front formed as a splinter of Vanguard America, whose marchers chant “blood and soil” in open homage to that doctrine.
The Revolutionary War aesthetics, the eagles, the tricolor, the mask of Washington, are counterfeit, adopted precisely because the swastika is unsellable here.
America is built it on a covenant between its citizens and its government to protect the document that cemented its people’s God given rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
That covenant requires citizenship, legal and vetted by men and women who understand Americas greatness and who want to help make it better. Not hate it, change it, or strip it of that which makes it a shining light to the world.
Are immigration mistakes all stem from allowing people to come here who hate what America stands for and who want to fundamentally change it.
Not from the color of their skin.
No Matt. I don't agree.
I'm Native. Comanche to be exact. America isn't an "idea". It's a collective of four foundational peoples whose coming together--through blood and strife and faith--shaped the nation.
Natives, Whites, Hispanics and Blacks. We're America. We are the foundation and everything else is just an optional extra.
We don't need and don't want millions more people from all four corners of the Earth clamoring in and demanding this or that.
We want a refocusing on our citizens and our country.
America First, Matt. That's what we want.
@Arightside This is a huge problem and must be addressed by Congress immediately. Granger in a nursing home and Mitch barely able to move yet still voting. Stop this.
Speaking at a pride event, James talarico says SB14, the ban on transgender surgeries for minors, "infuriates me" and is "the most dangerous" bill that passed in Texas.
He also criticized SB12, the law banning sexually oriented performances in the presence of children, and says, "you can't be pro-freedom if you're banning" pornographic books from school libraries.
TEXAS SENATE RACE: James Talarico (CIS) proudly admits his church leads in transgender activism, promotes atheism, and protects illegals from deportation. He’s dropping in the polls the more Texans learn about him.
