I am an advocate of free speech but a speaker should definitely be responsible for his or her speech and should be ready to be held accountable for same.
@DeeOneAyekooto All animals including humans are territorial in nature. Land dispute has been a delicate issue since the Biblical time, all plots of land are ancestral homes of some indigenous people. It is a deliberate provocation to call any land a no man's land.
@MobilePunch In my effort to subscribe 100mbps fiber X data plan, I transfer ₦45000 to @MTNNG
To my surprise, the plan didn't reflect
Kindly rectify the issue
@AbubakarCheche@egi_nupe Let's be fair to Sanusi, he didn't start today. He has been consistent on this economic recommendation for the past 10years. It is from Okonjo and Sanusi's recommendations that BAT derives his economic policy.

The Court of Appeal has today reaffirmed Itsekiri ownership, ruling decisively that Ogbe-ijaw has no territorial claim within Warri South Local Government Area.
The judgment was delivered in Appeal No. CA/AS/154/2024, filed by Ijaw parties claiming royal and territorial entitlement in Warri South. The Court dismissed the appeal in its entirety, upholding Itsekiri ownership and authority.
More details to follow.

@justkency@DeeOneAyekooto Just as stated by Obafelami Awolowo, there are no Nigerians as we have Ghanaians. Be reminded that some Nigerians living in USA lobbied Trump to do this. Moreso, we can see how their counterparts in Nigeria are jubilating.
@Africa_Hist I guess you are one of the customary tenants accommodated by our Iwere - Itsekiri brothers. @Lord_Of_Warri, here is one of your customary tenants!
@UchennaEkechuk2@firstladyship Your father Nnamdi Azikiwe fought through out his life to fragmentate the Yoruba into Ẹgba, Ẹkiti, Awori, Itsẹkiri, Yagba and other Yoruba dialects. Even you his descendants do it when you wish no matter how we tell you that we are one. So you now know that we are all Yorubas?
@nnaike2@arojinle1 You guys that are so clannish to the extent that someone from Eboyin is not welcome in Owerri and vise versa. Whatever advancement you want in Nigeria should start from your homes. You conveteous beings!
@nwotasamuel@AyamTjay@mariolexxx Are you aware that the Lagos Colony you referred in your comment is about 10% of today’s Lagos state? Did you know that the rest 90% was derived from the old western region?
I spoke with Think Yoruba First Organization excos and members in Kwara state yesterday and the news I am hearing from Igbomina land is terrible and heartbreaking.
Many ancient towns have been abandoned and IDP camps are already in Ajase Ipo and Ilorin according to eye witness accounts.
What we fear is upon us but we shall overcome.
Let's remember the Yoruba people of Kwara state in prayers.
THINK YORUBA FIRST ORGANIZATION PRESS RELEASE!!!
URGENT CALL TO ACTION: PROTECTING ITSEKIRI HERITAGE IN WARRI SOUTH
Dear Governor Sheriff Oborevwori,
We hereby bring to your immediate attention the brewing tensions in Warri South between our Itsekiri brethren and Ijaw settlers, ignited by the daring display of provocative flyers related to the disrespectful installation of an Ogbe-Ijoh king by the latter.
As a leading social cultural and political organization representing the interest of all sons of Oduduwa globally, we are deeply concerned about the safety and security of Itsekiris, who are the indigenous Yorubas of Warri South.
As the ancestral and legal landowners of Warri South, the Itsekiri community and the entire Yorubaland view this act as an affront and a violation of conventional codes guiding host-settler relationships, all over the world. It is even more infuriating given the landmark ruling by a competent court of jurisdiction that Ijaws lack the locus standi to lay claim to indigenous status in any inch of Warri South.
Historically and legally, it is a statement of fact that the Ogbe-Ijoh settlers who are recognized as customary tenants in Warri Southwest and Warri North Local Government Areas, have zero historical or legal ties to Warri South LGA. Therefore, the display of their king's flyers in Warri South is not only a direct attack on the heritage of Itsekiris but also a clear violation of the legal framework that governs our domain. This act is capable of gravely threatening the fragile peace currently been maintained.
Our demand is clear and non-negotiable - the Ogbe-Ijoh community must remove every one of those provocative flyers from Warri South as the only condition for further peaceful engagements. It is not only the sensible thing to do but also the respectful act to carry out as migrants under the overlordship of the Olu of Warri. Any attempt to challenge our Monarch’s ancestral birthright will be resisted by every Yoruba man and woman.
As a responsible and just governor, we expect your administration to take swift and decisive actions to first uphold the law and protect the ancestral heritage of the Itsekiris in Warri South. Delayed or zero intervention on your part may lead to severe consequences, least of which may be a total breakdown of law and order.
History will either remember you as the hero who prevented loss of lives or vilify you as the indecisive leader who failed to do the needful when necessary.
Ogbeni Oluwole Lewis,
