“Kierkegaard is effectively close to Kafka. For Kafka, bureaucracy is an innermost, metaphysical phenomenon, and I tend to agree with him. This is the theological dimension today: A year ago, the wife of a friend of mine, living in France, was informed by the local authorities
I’ve only watched the clips. Did Fox really go the whole debate and not ask a single question about child mutilation and gender ideology, which has been by far the biggest cultural issue in the country for multiple years now?
obvious ones: birth of a nation, triumph of the will; the various american military propaganda films to come out of the cultural toilet swirl after Iraq and Afghanistan wars (American Sniper et al); lastly Sia’s diabolical autism film is essentially a cognitohazard.
What are some examples of truly evil movies? Not necessarily in terms of depicting it, or thematizing it (or ideology/politics) but that truly feel like they’re channeling something awful into the world?(This was prompted by preparing a lecture on SPOORLOS).
‘People on the left need to stop arguing so much and just get Keir Starmer into power, because we have had over ten years of the Tories now, and the country is f****d,’ she said … hear hear. Couldn’t have put it better myself @GraceCampbell https://t.co/DCDf4d7ljU

Hey @elonmusk, I hope you read this. My heart is shattered, and my life feels like it's in ruins. Why did you have to suspend the @ExplainThisBob account? You may not realize it, but you've single-handedly destroyed everything I had.
I was more than just a follower; I was all in on $BOB. I believed in its potential, its vision. It wasn't just about the money; it was about the hope it gave me. I had dreams of a better future, of financial stability, and maybe even a chance to escape my struggles. $BOB was my glimmer of light in the darkness.
Every day, I would eagerly check @ExplainThisBob for updates, hoping for good news that could change my life. I found a community there, a support system of people who understood my struggles and believed in the same dream. It was a place where I felt connected, where I felt like I belonged.
But now, it's all gone. With the suspension of that account, it feels like a part of me has been taken away. I'm left with nothing but an overwhelming sense of loss and despair. The hope that once fueled my days has been replaced by emptiness and disappointment.
@elonmusk, you may have billions, but you've stolen something invaluable from me. You've stolen my hope, my faith in a better tomorrow. I can't help but wonder if you understand the consequences of your actions, the real impact they have on ordinary people like me.
I know you have your reasons, your own battles to fight. But in the process, you've pushed me further into the depths of sadness and despair. You've made my struggles even more unbearable. I hope you never have to experience the pain of having your dreams shattered so ruthlessly.
So, as I sit here, tears streaming down my face, I can't help but ask myself: What now? Where do I go from here? How do I rebuild my shattered life without the one thing that gave me hope?
I hope, somehow, you come across this message and understand the pain you've caused. Perhaps, in your immense power and influence, you can find it in your heart to bring back @ExplainThisBob and restore the dreams of countless individuals like me.
But until then, I'll be left here, broken and lost, trying to pick up the pieces of my life that you tore apart.
All three IDF soldiers murdered in Israel today have been identified.

May their memories be a blessing to their families and communities💔.
Karl Popper | The Philosopher of Modern Liberalism
Probably no political philosopher's vision of things more definitively won out in the latter half of the 20th century than Karl Popper.
Popper, not Marx, is the philosopher of the modern left. Let's find out why.
