Here’s my memo framework - works like a charm. I didn’t invent this. The Navy did & healthcare practitioners use it to communicate in high stress / no time situations.
1 / situation - one sentence of the idea, problem etc plainly stated.
2/ background - relevant facts that give needed context
3/ assessment - what needs to happen.3 things max
4/ recommendation - budget, timeline, people needed & metrics that measure success or failure
