That means the U.S. doesn’t just sell barrels.

It sells supply + security + finance + enforceability.

That is a much more powerful package than raw production alone.

And it becomes more valuable when a chokepoint like Hormuz becomes unstable.

The U.S. does not need to “win” a clean war against Iran if Iran itself succeeds in making Gulf supply look structurally unreliable.

Markets do not only buy oil they buy reliability. a blocked Hormuz can shift demand toward “safer” suppliers

The United States is not just “another oil producer.”

It offers a whole stack:
• large oil production
• LNG export capacity
• fuel exports
• Atlantic shipping access
• naval protection
• dollar settlement
• sanctions architecture
• political leverage
