Ford CEO Jim Farley, in a new interview, says he realized Ford had been doing EVs all wrong after his team ripped apart a Tesla:
“When we ripped apart a Tesla, I was just absolutely flabbergasted. The Mach-E's wiring harness was 70 pounds heavier and 1.6 kilometers longer. We didn't know what was going on in [Tesla engineers' ] minds. But now we understand. They had no prejudice. We had prejudice. We'd gone to our supply-chain person and said, "Buy another wiring harness." [Tesla] said, "Let's design the vehicle for the lowest, smallest battery." Totally different approach.”
In Canadian universities, whites are simply not allowed to claim they are indigenous to any land in the world.
It is not only the Quebecois—who founded French Canada through a very high birth rate, with only 1/7 of the inhabitants being immigrants when the province was conquered by the English in 1763—who are prohibited from being indigenous and must be identified as bad migrants who stole Canada.
All European ethnic groups are denied indigeneity to any land. They are civic citizens only, no more native to their lands than foreign immigrants.
This view is now officially consolidated in Wikipedia. https://t.co/WVY8skQ1KC
The entry for “indigenous Europeans” identifies only minority/non-dominant groups with distinct pre-modern histories, marginalized languages, or traditional livelihoods. It excludes all majority populations of European nation-states. The indigenous groups listed include the Sámi in northern Scandinavia/Russia, Basques, Ingrian Finns, Votians, and Pelasgians.
Only nonwhites can be indigenous to their lands, with their indigeneity increasing in intensity to the degree that they were colonized by whites.
On the other hand, immigrants can claim to be indigenous to any Western land insofar as (i) they are making the case that they are as German as Germans or as Swedish as Swedes, and (ii) they are considered “marginalized and discriminated against,” which meets a key political criterion for indigeneity.
Whites can be citizens only, and anyone in the world can be a citizen of their nations.
Grok 4.20 says the @waitbutwhy articles from 2015 about AI have held up very well.
“It has held up better than nearly any other 2015 writing on the subject.”

I also recommend his series on Elon.
If one is to use the term “First Nations” or “Indigenous Peoples” or “Native Americans” in the Americas and Antipodes, then, in fairness, it should also apply to English, French, Spanish and other such peoples in Europe

Elon Musk has been planning satellite-to-mobile internet for years and it’s now becoming reality
High-bandwidth connectivity directly from Starlink satellites to your regular phone is coming
Starlink has officially announced its next-generation 5G Mobile V2 satellites
“So in parallel, we’re building the satellites and working with the handset makers to add these frequencies to the phones. And then the satellites and the phones will handshake very well to achieve high-bandwidth connectivity"
Elon’s vision:
“You should be able to watch videos anywhere on your phone”
True global coverage with no dead zones - exactly what Elon has been working toward for years
Another example of video extension using the latest Grok Imagine update:
I created an image in Grok Imagine.
I animated it.
Then I clicked on video extension:
you can choose 6 seconds or 10 seconds, write an animation prompt, and select the starting image.
This ensures perfect continuity of the scene: fluidity of the image and sound atmosphere (music and sound effects).
Two orders of magnitude improvement in Direct to Cell (now called @Starlink Mobile) for V2. Huge improvement and amazing forthcoming work by the Starlink team.
Starlink Mobile is providing data for video, voice, and messaging services in areas where terrestrial service is unavailable
