The Coorong is a special and unique estuary at the end of Australia's largest river system, in our new study we document how reduced flushing has led to a long term decline in its water quality and sediment health @UofA_SET@goyderinstitute @SAEnvirWater https://t.co/dlXuTBg1zX
What a great week and a privilege to be part of a fabulous organizing committee for #IASSC23. 3 days of lectures and 3 field trips sharing acid sulfate soil knowledge between a wonderful community of incredible scientists working across academia, government and consulting. 🙌
That’s a wrap for #IASSC23! We thank all the delegates for so generously sharing their knowledge & making the conference so collaborative and enjoyable! We very much enjoyed sharing acid sulfate sites around SA over the 3 field trips and can’t wait for the next IASSC in 2025!
Here are the big takeaways from the @IPCC_CH Synthesis Report released today.
First, climate change has already caused widespread and substantial losses to almost every aspect of human life on this planet, and the impacts on future generations depend on the choices we make NOW.
Looking forward to hearing from growers on the EP about acidity and its management, and sharing some of my PhD research about lime movement as well as work done in the #acidsoilssa project to help tackle #soilacidity in #agriculture
