@jfdwolff@Clin_Med Bit annoying - just read the UKKA guidelines and found bicarbonate to be not recommended due to poor evidence... Its something I've recently got into using and found to work wonders in those with high K and low pH π€π
Hyperkalaemia: using Lokelma rather than insulin & dextrose for K+ 6.0-6.5 without ECG changes prevents a whole lot of insulin/dextrose related hypos & associated harm. @Clin_Med

Two weeks of night shifts leads to rash decision making...and now I find myself on the other end of the country after finishing nights this morning...π π π #LondonTSTheErasTour
august to do list:
- cancel plans just in case heβd call
- get in the car
- meet him behind the mall
- taste some salt air
- get lost in the memory
- drink a bottle of wine
- get twisted in bedsheets
- live for the hope of it all
@TomStocks1982 @BMA_JuniorDocs Now thinking even further - did the govt put that clause there to make us doubt the offer and vote no, so then they can just dump the 23/24 year and forget about it?
I've been digesting the arguments, but in the end I cannot in good conscience vote yes to this pay offer
The whole campaign is based on FPR - this isn't close
Make no mistake, I'm incredibly proud of @BMA_JuniorDocs, but the deal is tainted by the "forced recommend" clause
π¦
@TomStocks1982 @BMA_JuniorDocs That said, I really trust Rob/Vivek, and the detailed arguments they've now given us are fair. Do I go with their old or new suggestions? What is the big plan?
If the deal were neutral...I'd probably vote for it. But the govt pushed too far with that clause and ruined it
