🛑Law and order has become a joke in #Manipur. This is the audacity of @COTU_Kangpokpi after orchestrating a violent attack on security personnel with slingshots, petrol bombs and stones. The clash left one dead and 40+ people injured, including 27 security personnel. Of the 27, 2 are reportedly in a critical condition. The SP mentioned in their demand was issued death threats by the #Kuki Mob.

Is this not a direct challenge to the Government of India and our soldiers? How long should they be coddled?

As citizens and keen observers, the second hand embarrassment is becoming increasingly intolerable.

Get rid of the poppy militants and their civil organisations. All will fall into place. As long as these monsters persist, the common people, especially women and children , will continue to be weaponised. Those who want peace secretly will remain afraid to speak up.

Is there any fear or respect left for the presence of central forces, even after 27 of them were injured just a day earlier in Kangpokpi district?

The individual seen in the video appears to be openly mocking the central forces, seemingly unfazed as they move through these militant-occupied territories. This brazen display of defiance raises serious questions about the law and order situation in Manipur.

How can such audacity persist under the imposition of President’s Rule? Has the writ of the Indian state ceased to exist in these Kuki narco-terrorist strongholds? Are these occupied territories deliberately exempted from the very president’s rule meant to restore peace and stability?

The government of India must answer, how long will this dangerous impunity continue, and how many more lives must be put at risk before decisive action is taken?
