Postdoc with @LinTianLab at @MPFNeuro | @trainorlab alum. Neuroendocrine basis of sex differences in stress behavior. Serotonin release imaging. she/her 🐁🧠✨
The final piece of my dissertation work and a true labor of love! Pubertal androgens work to alter sensitivity to social stress. We find the behavioral changes to be reflective of distinct activity patterns in BNST. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this project!♥️
Although I can't be in Chicago for all the #sfn2024 fun, I am proud to have the Tian lab represented by our incredible PhD students, Yiwei and @jin_jinyihanmg!
Be sure to stop by their poster presentations on Monday morning to see what we've been working on 👩🔬🔬
Please join us at the first annual SBN Online Research Symposium this September 12-13, 2024! The all-virtual symposium will be focused on removing barriers to trainee participation in scientific conferences. More information: https://t.co/g3E6KnOExK
New paper out in @NatureNeuro!
Collaborating with several labs, we developed genetically encoded biosensors to track opioid pharmacology in the brain & provide powerful new tools for dissecting complex circuit-specific dynamics 🔧🧠

Keypoint-MoSeq from the @Datta_lab is an unsupervised behavior segmentation algorithm that extracts behavioral modules from keypoint tracking data acquired with diverse algorithms, as demonstrated on data from mice, rats and fruit flies. (1/2)
Excited for the first annual SBN Online Research Symposium this September 12-13, 2024! This all-virtual symposium will be focused on removing barriers to trainee participation in scientific conferences.

We have incredible scientists at MPFI, including Emily Wright (@emicwright), featured today by the @NIH Brain Initiative. Read about her research in the lab of @LinTianPhD, her path to science, and how she hopes to mentor the next generation of scientists https://t.co/4OVYSGdhjy
@nataliaduquew I don't have a particular paper rec, but there's a really interesting body of literature detailing female homosexual/bisexual behavior in japanese macaques.
Interested in joining our team at @MPFNeuro? 🧠🌴
The Tian Lab is recruiting postdocs!
If you want to help create brand new neuroscience tools, please send your CV and a brief summary of why you’d be a good fit to [email protected]!
Honored to have @UCDavisResearch feature my work! Making science accessible to a wider audience is so important. This is an article that I can share with my friends and family to showcase the research I do!
UC Davis research has identified changes in the #brain during puberty that may account for differences in how women and men respond to stress.
