I worry that very soon wearing a mask will be seen as negativity/fear mongering & people will try to ban them. Folks want the ability to harm without feeling bad or being reminded of the harm. The responsibility of quieting that discomfort will fall on the people being cautious.
Controversial opinion: pets are not a right.
Don’t get one unless you can afford its basic needs (food, shelter, preventative medical care). Invest in a savings account or pet insurance for the unexpected.

If you can watch the slaughter of innocents in Kyiv tonight and equate that with your not wearing a mask to the grocery store - you’re not worthy of the freedoms handed to you.
As I’m watching husbands and fathers say goodbye to their loved ones, their children, not knowing if they will ever see them again, I just cannot believe that for two years we’ve been watching people cry and protest over having to wear a fucking mask.
