Can confirm Rhode Island Reds are super nasty! Also, great point about the Silkies, they should live in smaller quarters. I let my other girls roam the pastures a bit during the day but the silkies never venture far from the barn. Sapphire Gems and Sexlinks are also very sweet natured if you want a smaller group in a small enclosure. I have 5 acres but learning its much easier to keep them alive when you confine them.
