Cautionary note against eppendorf-80. Ours is less than one year old, initially was delivered wrong order. I never had issues using our others one for past 18 years. But this one already needing replacement of parts. Below are the issues

@LarryMattYork I use a TissueLyser with a plate adapter and two steel balls per well (96-well 1.2 ml plate). Works well for extraction and makes very fine powder!
