Horrifically mis-profiled by the WORST manager Spurs have seen in years, maybe ever. A season also ravaged by injury, he missed 23 games (124 days) with ankle issues, concussion and a groin injury during the 2025/26 term.

And now we’re deciding to part ways with one of the biggest talents in word football. At the age of 16, Barcelona wanted him. We prized him away from the second biggest Club in history.

I understand the overload we have in midfield, and the need to sign proven talent there (Tonali, Fernandes etc), but being so happy to just part ways with Bergvall stings and I think it’s a decision we’ll look back on in years to come with frustration and regret. “What could’ve been…”

I refuse to believe there aren’t other options. Loan him out for a year, because I honestly can’t see Bentancur lasting past 2027. The same goes for Sarr, and also Palhinha if we brought him back. Or keep him and be ruthless and sell those who are taking his place NOW.
