I have had multiple Martinites over the years claim Jon Show can beat Aragron.

(Granted, it most of it was probably to spite and ragebait Tolkienites).

And I do agree that powerscaling =/= quality. But I don't think that's an argument. "My favorite character can beat up your favorite character" has been a thing between fanbases for decades.

So I dove into the lore of Big Red, aka Chanty Binx. It turns out she is actually a very articulate and cool headed person and isn't nearly as emotional when she debates. The famous clip of her was taken way out of context, as the person she was debating (or at least someone next to him) just kept interrupting her, insulting her and throwing ad homins non-stop. She eventually lost her temper, which is what we see in the clip
