NEW: We are suing Donald Trump.
This is a manufactured crisis. He is creating fear and terror to take over a state militia and violate the U.S. constitution.
The illegal order he signed could allow him to send the military into ANY STATE HE WISHES.
Every governor -- red or blue -- should reject this outrageous overreach.
There’s a lot of hyperbole out there. This isn’t that.
This is an unmistakable step toward authoritarianism that threatens the foundation of our republic.
We cannot let it stand.
Public leaders & Martinez Refining Company provided an update on the fire at the refinery which has been burning since around 2 pm. Now, they say 6 patients are being treated related to this fire, 3 have minor injuries. Still no word on the root cause of the fire @nbcbayarea
We had an assault weapons ban from 1994-2004 that prohibited the manufacture or sale for civilian use of certain semi-automatic weapons and banned magazines with 10 rounds or more.
Mass shootings dropped during that decade.
We did it once and should do it again.

—Harry Truman, 1952
Can we just take a minute to recognize that the orange painted crazy person who got caught stealing national security secrets and is currently posting cult conspiracy content to his pretend Twitter, is STILL his party’s front runner for President in 2024.
Whatever your politics, whatever you think about the outcome of the election, we as Americans must all agree on this; Donald Trump's conduct on Jan. 6 was a supreme violation of his oath of office & a complete dereliction of his duty to our nation. It is a stain on our history.
There is never an instance where an assault weapon can be classified as a “weapon of defense.” The only way to describe these dangerous firearms are "weapons of war."
I am unable to process how the pharmaceutical industry that overcame childhood leukemia is supposed to be bad, while the civilian gun manufacturers who bring us recurring school massacres are supposed to be heroes of liberty.
