Kosovo's import tax reshaped trade: Serbia fell from 1st to 42nd in 2019, and rebounded to 14th by 2024, while BiH dropped to 63rd, now 23rd. Post-tax lift saw recovery; although both Serbia and BiH faced a decline again since 2022. #KosovoTrade#imports

In 2023, the export of services from Kosovo🇽🇰 was around 3 billion euros, or 18% higher📈 than in 2022. This includes expenses made by tourists and the diaspora during their visits to Kosovo (in the travel category), exports from the ICT sector, etc.
Despite Kosovo's historical trade deficit, where 2023 saw a 7 to 1 import-to-export ratio, certain products emerged as exceptions.
The table below spotlights products that achieved a positive trade balance. https://t.co/XHnGCsUoEd
Imagine human history were written in a big 1,000-page book. Every page would cover 250 years. If we tore out all the pages, it would look like this.
The very earliest permanent settlements started around page 760 and recorded history doesn't start until around page 775.

I made this new chart of global inequality:
• If you live on $30 a day you are part of the richest 15%.
• The majority of the world is very poor: the poorer half of the world – almost 4 billion people – live on less than $6.70 a day.
