Genocide Prevention in Ethiopia (@GPEthiopia ), is very much encouraged by the resolution passed by the Santa Barbara County in the State of California to support the struggle of the #Amhara people of #Ethiopia.

We thank Supervisor Das Williams of the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors for sponsoring the resolution, and all those present for unanimously passing the resolution.

Last but not least, we thank the dedicated team of Amhara advocates who carried out consistent advocacy to educate their representatives with the actual facts of what is going on in Ethiopia against Amhara people. We listed below the advocates that were present during the passing of the resolution, we are equally indebted if there were other members of the team who didn't make it to the podium today.
