Maulana Khan Zeb, Central Secretary for Religious Affairs of the Awami National Party (ANP), has been assassinated.

The ANP has a long history of opposing religious extremism and the Talibanisation of the Pashtun belt. 📢 At a historic All Parties Conference hosted by Awami National Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, political leaders from across the spectrum unanimously rejected the KP Mines & Minerals Bill 2025, terming it an unconstitutional attack on provincial autonomy and a violation of the 18th Amendment.

📢 ANP Provincial President Mian Iftikhar Hussain, along with other political leaders, presented the joint declaration calling the bill an attempt to usurp local control over natural resources and impose federal dominance through unconstitutional platforms like SIFC.
