I often find myself debating whether I have time to call and update a family about a patient in the ED. Despite my hesitancy I’ve been glad I called every single time. We do so many things that have marginal clinical utility, talking to families is a high yield intervention.
@elinlowri How about buying or long term renting ( sensible first) somewhere abroad. I'm doing it -sensible renting - in ibiza and loving it ( so far).... You could also borrow it first to get the idea if you like, as an early bday present.... X
