@notch Depends on what you want your engine to be capable of.

But if you focus on gameplay and not on photorealistic graphics (which you anyways should do as indie) then I agree. And even if you don’t want to write your own engine: there are a lot of good free ones out there.

@raumvektor Bisher hat mir wirklich jedes Buch gut gefallen. Speziell die hard Science-Fiction die die Fantasie dazu anregt nachzudenken, was alles möglich sein könnte eines Tages. Aber auch was für neue moralische Fragen dadurch aufgeworfen werden. Kudos!
