The Neopets pop-up worked because it gave fans who share the same nostalgia, the same attachment, and the same curiosity about what comes next. IRL engagement with the brand and fellow fans, paired with a tangible sense that their presence was shaping the next chapter, is a powerful combination. That's community activation with a long tail.
