Gentle Reminder: there are no transit options, sewers or even roads in some cases on the Greenbelt lands.
Pitching the “benefits” from the provincial facilitator is a joke as we don’t need to spend our taxes on this billionaire’s gold rush scheme. #Ford presser is a joke.
Why is there a DRAP? When was it created? What's it all about? Start here in this 2005 Hansard record (start at section 1540):
ORDERS OF THE DAY - DUFFINS ROUGE AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE ACT, 2005

#SaveTheDRAP
We want the land returned to the Greenbelt and full criminal investigations.
Forget the damage control through incremental resignations.
Reverse the land grab and boundary expansions in #HamOnt and #Halton, NOW!
To anyone who argued Doug Ford's many MZOs, Bill 23, the municipal audits - or anything at all he's done on the housing file - was earnestly about solving the housing crisis and not simply padding the pockets of developers, maybe sit out a few.
Just a reminder that at the ❤️ of #GreenbeltScandal, #MrX of #MZOsRUs, and all the other @fordnation regressive land use changes, lie natural assets, precious habitat connections, pristine stream systems, threatened species, trees, fields + wetlands. #ClimateCrisis#Biodiversity

Next, contact Premier, Ministers Clark + Bethlenfalvy, and Mayor Ashe. More details and a suggested script here: https://t.co/IjyeLS46zy
FYI - it was Mr X (Municipal Solutions) who paid for Pickering’s @MayorKevinAshe + @lrobinsonward1 to attend @fordnation Premier’s Dinner in March 2023. Did Mayor Collier go via Mr X too? Can’t locate disclosure on Ajax website.

This will come as no surprise to folks who have been involved in progressive municipal politics in Durham Region…councillors were constantly approached by Municipal Solutions offering to funnel donations to them from various developers. Mr. X aka John Mutton is well known.
Once more for @PBethlenfalvy and all other PC MPPs, BUILD HOUSES IN SEATON!!! It’s only 10% full. Ask the planners of Pickering and Durham where houses can go faster than DRAP and GB. It’s the DGAs of Durham, and in Pickering, it’s the long planned and resourced Seaton area!
