Alberta separatists crying about an oppressive liberal government in Ottawa while driving $120,000 trucks and SUV’s while planning their second Mexico vacation this year.
I see many wondering why the No Kings rallies are not as confrontational or angry as protests in France, Albania etc, and have no concrete demands
It’s because No Kings participants are certain the Democrats will sweep the midterms, and their only demand is that we vote Democrat
These are purely get out the vote rallies for a Democrat Party that is still generally pro-war, pro-Israel, and corporate friendly
They are filled with boomerlibs hypnotized by MSNOW and first term Trump era Russiagate propaganda. Once the Dems take power, they go back to brunch.
Any more radical demands are sure to be diluted within the partisan No Kings morass, or shut down by a lady wearing a shirt that says “Resist.”
quebec separatist: we have a unique linguistic, cultural, and national heritage. also we are quite racist.
alberta separatist: I fucking hate taxes and my neighbours. also I am extremely racist.
Hey @AIPAC - remember how you kept suggesting it was antisemitic to report that you were using shell PACs to hide how you were spending money (unsuccessfully) in these Illinois races? Care to apologize?
Dogmatic ideology rots your brain.
Under Sim and ABC, Vancouver became worse on all the metrics the far right likes to claim are reasons they supported the former mayor and council: a task force that pushed the most desperate to commit more petty crimes, public sanitation declined, etc.
But because of rigid loyalty to Sim and ABC, you get articles like this, claiming the sky is falling.
Be honest - your ideological allies failed to deliver and voters dealt with them.
Their opponents ran a campaign that energized and inspired Vancouverites.
Whether they succeed this term, crash out, or something inbetween remains to be seen. Articles like this, at best, echo chicken little.
Why does the Greens' "Zionism is racism" policy provoke such fear from the UK's political and media class?
Because it collapses their key script – by emphasising that the struggle to end Palestinian oppression is against a racist political movement, Zionism, not against Jews.
The political and media class are so desperate to keep advancing this script that they're now forced to defame the UK's only Jewish party leader as an antisemite to make it make sense.
It doesn't make sense – can never make sense – because it's a lie.
The conditions that enabled the first Trump-Iran deal have changed. The new conditions suggest no durable US-Iran deal will emerge until Trump’s term ends. This has significant implications for Trump's potential use of a MOAB against Pickaxe Mountain.
In February, the Iranians still believed a deal with Trump was possible. They saw Trump as a president who yearned to be historic - either by striking a deal with Tehran or by becoming the president who got rid of the Islamic Republic. If the latter proved impossible, Trump was still attracted to the idea of a deal.
Tehran no longer holds this view. Instead, Trump is seen as an inherently unstable and immature person who may want a deal, but does not have the discipline to secure one or the strength to keep it in the face of attacks from Israel and pro-Israeli forces in the US.
Moreover, the Iranian narrative suggests that Trump did not hurt enough before agreeing to the MOU. Had the war been more costly, he would have had stronger incentives to keep the agreement.
Combined with the idea that he cannot keep a deal, this results in an Iranian perception that the war can only end once the cost of continuing it becomes intolerable for Trump.
That is, incentives or face-saving exits won’t end the war; Trump reaching a military dead-end will.
These perceptions profoundly shape the implications of Trump striking Pickaxe Mountain with a MOAB.
Tehran’s likely reaction will be to expand the war significantly. Iran’s experience with Trump is that he backs off only if Tehran inflicts high costs on his strategy.
A proportional Iranian response to an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities would be to strike at other nuclear facilities in the region, including in the UAE and Israel. While this would significantly destabilize the region, Tehran believes only such a response would prompt Trump to back off.

@josephepp_@Prominent_Bryan "most voters" are never the target. Most voters are pre decided, but the "independents" or non aligned voters are likely looking for this kind of information.
