The OpenAI Build Week Community has come to an end.

It was an intense day of hacking, learning, and building with Codex.

In a single day, our team pivoted three times. Not because we were unsure, but because the feedback from mentors and judges kept pushing us to simplify, clarify, and stay focused on what actually needed to work.

In the end, we built FixSight: a plugin designed for Codex. Starting from a user's request, it tests an accessibility journey, reproduces a real issue, proposes a fix, and then replays the exact same flow to verify that the problem has been solved.

What I'll remember most, though, isn't just the product we shipped.

It's the quality of the mentoring. The speed of thought, clarity, and high standards of the mentors and judges helped us stay on the right path throughout the day. With every pivot, they challenged us to separate what was exciting from what was genuinely useful, demonstrable, and aligned with a real user need.

A great product lesson: moving fast doesn't necessarily mean building more. It means removing the noise, choosing a simple feedback loop, and making it reliable.
