EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and #EPARegion6 Administrator Scott Mason were at the Port of Corpus Christi yesterday! As this port continues to grow stronger, Texas and our nation's economy grows stronger alongside it. The success of this port is not only important for Corpus Christi, but ESSENTIAL for all Americans! Coverage of the visit from @kris6news.
#EPARegion6 Regional Administrator Mason was recently on the move, sharing good news in Santa Fe with the @NMOilandGas Association. We’re pumped about how EPA is working to provide relief and bring common sense back to oil and natural gas rulemaking and policy.
Nationally, New Mexico is the third-largest energy producing state and the second-largest crude oil-producing state, supplying much of the nation’s energy needs. Communicating with states and industry partners is crucial to Powering the Great American Comeback!

⭐ EPA Employee Spotlight ⭐
Eric Delgado, a Section Chief in @eparegion6's Emergency Response and Preparedness Section.
Eric leads a multidisciplinary workforce responsible for emergency response, removal actions, oil spill preparedness, major event planning and responder development across five states and Tribal lands.
He’s motivated by the mission and responsibility that comes with being there when communities need EPA most. He’s also motivated by developing people and is proud of the work Region 6 has accomplished to strengthen On-Scene Coordinators’ development and mentoring. Eric enjoys solving hard problems, bringing people together, cutting through the noise, and finding a path forward.
The career advice he’d give his younger self is that leadership has a lot less to do with having all the answers and a lot more to do with earning people’s trust. Don’t wait until you have the title to lead.
Outside of work you can find Eric spending time with his wife and three sons, or behind the camera shooting sports photography.
Thank you making a difference at EPA and beyond!
