A Ukrainian crew of six fighters destroyed about 20 Russian radars over Bryansk and opened a corridor into Russia's rear.
Blinding that air defense first is what lets Ukraine's deep-strike drones reach the refineries and oil ports deep inside Russia — Oboronka. 1/
Ukraine must decide whether to launch a major offensive while its mid-range drone advantage still exists, or wait and risk losing the window that could change the war’s trajectory.
Ukraine’s 2023 offensive was ambitious but ultimately fell short. It advanced through layered defenses but could not break them. The losses were heavy and the experience forced Kyiv to rethink how it uses its limited manpower. The Kursk operation later showed that Ukrainian forces can learn and can still penetrate Russian lines, but the withdrawal revealed the limits of sustaining gains without strong infantry and reliable logistics. Russian drone teams disrupted supply routes and forced Ukraine to pull back. Ukraine just couldn’t commit.
Despite this, Kursk proved that maneuver is not dead. Local counterattacks in the Kupiansk area and in the south have shown that Ukraine can still take ground when conditions are favorable. The issue is not whether Ukraine can attack. The issue is whether it can afford the cost of doing so at scale. Ukraine’s manpower is limited and its ammunition stocks are not infinite. Offensive operations consume resources at a rate that Ukraine cannot sustain without clear strategic payoff.
Ukraine now has a powerful advantage in mid-range strike drones. These systems are hitting Russian logistics. They are forcing Russia to disperse supplies and slowing Russian operations. However, this advantage will not last forever. Russia is adapting and building its own capabilities. Ukraine can wait to intensify the pressure and prepare a stronger offensive, but waiting risks losing the edge that could make such an offensive possible. A real dilemma!
Smaller local operations are safer and more likely to succeed, but they may not shift the strategic balance before Russia adapts.
Ukraine faces a choice with no easy answer. Every option carries risk. Every option carries a price. Russia luckily cannot predict what Ukraine will do. That uncertainty is a strategic nightmare for Moscow, which has not found a way to counter Ukraine’s mid-range and long-range strikes and sees its situation worsening
🚨 Putin to flee the Kremlin? Thousands of drones are set to target Moscow!
Zelensky has declared that the war has entered a new decisive phase — one in which the outcome will be determined not on land or at sea, but in the sky.
The logic is simple. The front line on land has largely stalled, while Russia's Black Sea Fleet has been pushed out of the Black Sea by Ukrainian naval drones. That means the battle has shifted to the air.
And there, Zelensky says, Ukraine is already on equal footing. When it's no longer 100 drones flying toward Moscow but thousands, Putin will understand. When he starts seeing it with his own eyes, his advisers will be urging him to relocate somewhere beyond the Urals.
Stubb: 35,000 Russian soldiers killed per month won't end this war. Economic strain won't end it either.
What ends it: the Russian population turning against it. Drones hit St. Petersburg and Moscow. Kids lose their summers in Crimea. Gas lines. Internet shutdowns.

⚫️ One more soldier born in 2008 has been killed in Russia's war against Ukraine.
When Putin announced the full-scale invasion in 2022, Nikita Malyshev was just 13 years old.
He was born on April 7, 2008, into a large family in the Buryat village of Poperechnoye.
Malyshev went to war while still a college student. He signed a military contract the day after turning 18.
On June 12, he was killed near the village of Vesele in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, where he served as a rifleman in an anti-aircraft missile platoon.
His obituary says that his "peaceful student life was interrupted by duty to the Motherland."
As a result of a multi-stage special operation carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Defense, several high-ranking Russian generals were captured.
According to sources close to the operation, among those detained are commanders who directly oversaw the occupation of Melitopol and the defense of Mariupol. These were the generals who allegedly gave orders for the massive bombing of Azovstal, the creation of filtration camps, the forced deportation of civilians, and other grave crimes against the civilian population.
The operation was carried out over a long period and involved complex, multi-stage work. According to sources, SBU chief Vasyl Maliuk personally oversaw key stages of the operation.
The detained generals are now reportedly on Ukrainian territory. Investigative actions are ongoing. The SBU is expected to release details of the operation and the names of the senior Russian officials in the near future.
This is one of the most significant successes of Ukrainian special services in recent months, demonstrating Ukraine’s ability to effectively reach even the highest levels of Russia’s military command involved in war crimes.
Ukraine has exceeded every expectation in terms of liberating their country from Russian invasion and is worthy of continued increased support. My Russia sanctions bill with Senator Blumenthal can make a real difference. The legislation - with wide and deep bipartisan support - would allow President Trump to put tariffs on the top countries that buy cheap Russian oil and natural gas to prop up Putin’s war machine.
In my opinion, this summer is the time to go all in to put pressure on Putin to get to the peace table and end the bloodbath.
🇷🇺🇺🇦Ukraine has officially delivered a stark peace proposal to the Kremlin, giving Putin a final, realistic window to end the war before his entire regime faces total internal collapse.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha confirmed the initiative, stating that the proposal is both realistic and highly doable, but requires Putin to finally accept that he will never achieve his aggressive goals on the battlefield. Ukrainian officials emphasized that this offer is the Kremlin's last remaining exit ramp to preserve its state stability, as Russia’s military and economic systems crawl closer to an unsustainable breaking point.
This diplomatic move signals that Ukraine is now dictating terms strictly from a position of absolute strength. Backed by the systematic destruction of Russia's deep-rear oil and gas infrastructure, Kyiv is turning the tables on Moscow—forcing Putin to either abandon his imperialistic illusions or watch his regime disintegrate under the weight of an un-winnable war.
🇺🇦Ukraine, 🇫🇷France, 🇩🇪Germany, and 🇳🇱the Netherlands will develop a long-range missile, with the 🇬🇧UK leading the coalition, —The Telegraph.
🚀 The high-precision weapon will be capable of striking targets at ranges of 1,000-3,000 km.
The stated goal of the project is to reduce Europe's dependence on American weapons systems amid Trump's review of the US military presence on the continent.
😂🇷🇺Top Kremlin propagandist Margarita Simonyan is shifting into damage-control mode, preparing the public for severe lifestyle regressions as the domestic fuel crisis deepens across Russia.
🇷🇺Margarita Simonyan is preparing Russians - The propagandist reassures the population: “Previously, not just gasoline, but even food was rationed with coupons. Yes, it's hard. But we endured then. We will endure now too. Now is not the time for this. Calm down a bit and stop whining,” she urges the population.
📌 This rhetoric exposes the depth of Russia's distress. By telling citizens to brace for Soviet-era rationing and stop whining, Simonyan confirms that Ukraine's drone campaign against oil refineries has shattered the Kremlin's economic facade, triggering a crisis they can no longer hide.
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The scale of tonight's strikes is now clear: FOUR TO FIVE TIMES bigger than anything since the ceasefire...
-Per a U.S. official to Axios, tonight's strikes were four or five times larger in scope and power than the previous Hormuz round ten days ago
-The target list spanned Iran's entire strait arsenal: air defenses, coastal surveillance, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship cruise missile sites, drone launch sites, and port facilities
-Explosions were reported across Bandar Abbas, Sirik, and Qeshm Island
-It answers three Iranian attacks on commercial ships in two days, which shattered the post-MOU pause
-Treasury simultaneously revoked Iran's oil-sales waivers, with Tehran condemning the move as a breach of the deal

⚡️BREAKING:
Military Adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader on Negotiations:
"Negotiations with the Americans will Fail
It is extremely clear that the Americans will turn these Negotiations into a Failure like the previous Nuclear Deal"
BREAKING: A source close to Iran's top negotiator suggests the MOU is effectively dead after the U.S. revoked the sanctions waiver — with Iran set to tighten its grip on the Strait of Hormuz and put Bab el-Mandeb "on the table", according to some Iranian outlets.
The source said the revocation marks a "fundamental breach," leaving Tehran with no reason to limit its military posture. Iran's patience with U.S. escorts was already running thin — now with the economic incentive removed, the threshold for escalation has been significantly lowered.
"The MOU just ended here," the source said. "If Washington wants to push, Tehran will respond by widening the front — closing Bab el-Mandeb is also on the table."
🚀 NATO SUMMIT IN ANKARA: TRUMP AND PUTIN CLASH IN 85-MINUTE CALL! 🇹🇷🇺🇸⚔️
All global attention has shifted to the 36th NATO Summit in Ankara, Turkey. In a highly volatile diplomatic prelude, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin engaged in a tense 85-minute phone call debating a potential settlement in Ukraine, with relations between the two leaders hitting an all-time low.
Putin's structural trap ahead of the summit:
🎰 Gambling on Western Division: Putin’s primary objective remains exploiting fractures between Europe and the US. However, this has backfired—US pressure has inadvertently forced Europe to achieve total defense autonomy.
📉 Domestic Meltdown: Security analysts note that Putin currently faces severe economic problems, a nationwide fuel crisis, massive holes in his air defense network, and a logistically besieged Crimean peninsula.
💨 Devalued Bluster: Intelligence experts expect the usual hybrid provocations and cyberattacks. But after four years of empty threats, Putin’s verbal currency has lost its threat value—Moscow is simply running out of operational bandwidth.
My take:The geometric reality of this summit has fundamentally changed. This meeting takes place immediately after the White House declared Russia's offensive capabilities are "approaching zero," and right as Ukrainian deep strikes have neutralized a quarter of Russia's refining capacity. Putin is attempting to leverage rumors of a new mobilization to project strength, but he is fundamentally negotiating from a position of absolute material exhaustion. He wanted to break NATO, but instead, he has awakened a self-sufficient, heavily armed European fortress. Moscow no longer dictates the terms! ⏳🦅🇺🇦

‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺 Zelensky just drew a massive, bloody target directly over Russia's elite nerve centers, warning Putin that a storm of thousands of drones is about to shatter the illusion of safety in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In a fierce, uncompromising statement, the Ukrainian President announced a dramatic escalation of deep-theater strikes, promising to bring the full horror of the war directly to the doorsteps of Russia's ruling class. Zelensky made it clear that as long as Ukrainian strikes avoided Russia's twin capitals, Putin felt insulated from his own aggression. However, the strategy is shifting completely: Ukraine intends to rain over a thousand drones down on Moscow and St. Petersburg to force the Kremlin and its trembling elites to face reality, panic for their lives, and run for cover beyond the Ural Mountains.
This is the ultimate psychological and strategic masterstroke to break the back of the Russian occupation. By turning Russia's most affluent, decision-making capitals into active war zones, Ukraine is stripping Putin of his domestic stability and hitting the elites exactly where they sleep. When the very people funding and ordering the slaughter of Ukrainians find themselves hiding in bomb shelters, the pressure on the Kremlin will become completely unsustainable—making Putin's retreat from Moscow the literal gateway to a Ukrainian victory.
🇨🇿🇷🇺🇺🇦 Czech President Petr Pavel delivered a blunt message in Ankara today: Moscow has to accept that the only real way out of the Ukraine war is sitting down at the negotiation table.
That's coming from a former NATO general and one of Kyiv’s strongest backers, right in the middle of the ongoing NATO summit.

💥 The last bastion has fallen! Omsk Oil Refinery has suspended operations — Reuters
Until recently, it had been the only major Russian refinery that had not been hit by Ukrainian drone attacks. But now the drones have reached it too.
The Omsk refinery is the largest oil refinery in Russia. It produced roughly one in every eight liters of gasoline used in the country.
NEW: 🇳🇱🇺🇦 The Netherlands officially announced that it would no longer provide military support to Ukraine.
The Netherlands has no more scope to offer direct military support to Ukraine, Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said.
Erdogan's reaction to Trump's announcement that the U.S. will lift the CAATSA sanctions on Turkey. The sanctions followed Ankara's purchase of the Russian S-400 air defense system, and led to Turkey's removal from the F-35 program.
@JewishWarrior13
Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi delivered a razor-sharp reality check to Moscow. The message is definitive: Peace will only be achieved on Ukrainian terms, and "not an inch" of land will be surrendered. By inflicting crushing losses, Ukraine intends to permanently break Russia's ability to dictate terms. A powerful rebuttal to the Kremlin's recent attempts to pose as "ready for negotiations" ahead of the NATO summit. 🇺🇦⚔️ (Source: TSN Interview)
