My speech from @EthPrague is up! 🇨🇿
What Ethereum got right, what we got wrong, and why the "Real World" still can't reach us.
Good news: ZK + FHE (@fhenix // @zama) the building blocks let us build compliance tooling with selective disclosure.

Using @Zama’s FHE, builders designed systems where computation happens on encrypted data without exposing sensitive information.
Here are your winners for the Zama track in the Frontiers of Collaboration hackathon!
ZDrive is a self-sovereign cloud. It's encrypted storage with on-chain access control.
Your files shouldn’t depend on a provider.

🔷 Ethereum is for building bridges, not walls.
While public blockchains have offered little privacy and made compliance difficult, FHE and ZK proofs are fundamentally changing the calculus.
@PGSideris (@equitylayer), founder and software engineer with over a decade of experience spanning Goldman Sachs and Web3, is taking over the stage to break it all down.
This May at ETHPrague ☀️

I, for one, welcome our new @CantonNetwork overlords, but I’ll keep building on Ethereum.
All this moaning and groaning around “suits” screams of insecurity.
We were given the holy grail of technology, a shared execution and storage environment, and used it to gamble or jpegs of monkeys.
We could have built real tools for real people, but we fumbled the better part of two decades on exotic casinos.
Now that the – famously – conservative institutions are taking interest in the space we are hostile.
Ethereum is neutral.
That means it should serve you if you’re a person, a bot or a Bulge Bracket IB. If we don’t accommodate the backbone of our economies then they will create a parallel system, making you an unwilling participant.
I will be at @EthCC with @equitylayer talking to founders, investors and institutions about how we can bring the future to everyone.
And, yes, I’ll be wearing a suit and when hacking a hoodie.
Hit me up if you want to catch up.
🇪🇺 The @EU_Commission has finally put forward a proposal for the EU Inc. - an important step to give European companies a common set of rules valid across Europe.
This is progress - but let’s be very clear:
✔️ What it does:
• 48h company setup, fully online, low cost
• no paperwork, no physical presence
• Creates a single EU corporate EU-wide legal regime
❌ What it doesn’t do:
• No tax harmonisation
• No labour convergence
• No single jurisdiction
In short: easier to create a company in Europe - still hard to scale one.
Cautious by design.
Built not to upset Member States.
Still far from what European companies actually need.
@euinc_petition@euacchq@EUCssrMcGrath@steph_sejourne
We will be the first integrating @euinc_petition into our offering.
We are here to support regulatory clarity for all startups, founders and shareholders. 🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺
On 18 March, we’ll propose EU Inc. a single, truly European company structure, for businesses to invest & operate effortlessly across the entire EU. We’ll help companies by defining what makes a company a startup or a scaleup, because innovation must get targeted support.
Across Protocol wants to become a private company 👀
@paradigm-backed @AcrossProtocol posted a temperature-check proposal exploring a move from a DAO to a U.S. C-corp where ACX holders could exchange tokens for equity.
If approved by the community, holders could either
• exchange ACX for equity at a 1:1 ratio, or
• redeem tokens for $0.04375 in USDC, a 25% premium to the one-month average price.
ACX is already up over 33% since the proposal.
@aave DAO vs Labs
@circle buys Interop Labs — $AXL holders get nothing.
Token vs Equity is a false choice.
We are making this debate irrelevant rebuilding the equity stack.
