@swordsticky@BasedMikeLee The Book of Mormon is a powerful book that testifies of Christ and the miraculous Son of God that he is on just about every page. Christ should be our compass. He should be our foundation.
I’m not saying you aren’t. I’m making a point of what is taught in our church.
@somanyclownslol@BasedMikeLee Wow that seems wholly Christian.
The Book of Mormon testifies about some aspect of Christ and his doctrine, divinity, charity, love, patience, meekness, condescension, concern , and other miraculous aspects about Christ on nearly every page. It’s a powerful book.
@carpediem365@BasedMikeLee You can’t be called a heretic by people who like to play ridiculous ad hominem games about faith and belief in Christ, and also believe and follow Christ and keep his commandments, and seek to be more like Christ at the same time.
@farmingandJesus Yeah no other religion wears different clothing for officiating (priests, preachers, bishops, cardinals) or different religious events (white for baptism), & they certainly don't ever have prayer circles.
Whoever took this needs to be excommunicated. It is sacred.
@69Skoal69@BasedMikeLee It's racist to recognize different artistic stylings of other cultures ? And then ask someone why they sang in a certain way ? All the super sensitivity about "cultural appropriation" is ridiculous. Everybody appropriates culture in some way.
@3YearLetterman The Book of Mormon is one of the most powerful books ever written. It will bring the spirit into your life, inspiring one to pray more, repent more, and know Christ more. If you give the book a chance, and don't read it like you are taking something sour.
@3YearLetterman The Book of Mormon throughout testifies and teaches about Christ, his doctrine, his prophets, the gospel, and his dealings with those who chose to follow him. Reading and studying the book will bring the spirit into your life. It will turn your heart toward Christ & repentance.
@ryanswalters73@BasedMikeLee Here is an experiment to try. God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ commanded us to be perfect like the Father. Ask Father in Christ's name to help you know more about the Father and understand his doctrine better There is always more to learn about God. Answers may take time
@ryanswalters73@BasedMikeLee I remember in school how we were told in school the natives of the Americas did not use metal. Yet somehow there are ancient mines around the Great Lakes with slag from processing metal. There is also evidence of iron furnaces in Ohio in ancient fortifications.
@ryanswalters73@BasedMikeLee The Book of Revelations is where that comes from. The Book of Revelations isn't complete in the teachings or doctrine of Christ. Unless you all go from sola scriptura to sola Book of Revelations. I guess that is how one would say that.
@ryanswalters73@BasedMikeLee I don't think you know anything of any consequence about The Book of Mormon.
I suspect your assertion about The Book of Mormon being filled with lies is because the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints doesn't line up with your own perspective on doctrine
@BasedMikeLee How many versions of the Nicene Creed have there been ? And how many versions are there now ? 300 years after Christ this essential, Christian defining document was first authored ( and then changed and changed ). It wasn’t that critical enough for Christ or his Apostles.
@zivaspeaks_ziva@BasedMikeLee The constant, ridiculous , senseless ad hominem attack on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. You all try every ridiculous angle .

@dswslc@sltrib You're trying to insinuate that the church was fooled because they were talking with Hoffman and God didn't reveal it to them directly. At least as far as you know. I think Gods hand came down and made a bunch of revelations about who and what Mark Hoffman was.
@sltrib An inane article by the Tribune. The reasoning goes if someone claims something is divinely inspired or an act to facilitate the designs of God, then it must be like similar claims others have made for their own evil agenda or empowerment. Their message is that there is no God.
@DrFrankTurek The Book of Mormon testifies and teaches about Jesus Christ throughout. Reading and studying it can bring the spirit more into your life.
