Visiting the Palisades and Altadena fire areas these past two days, the greatest sound was from all the hammers pounding away as thousands rebuild their homes, lives, and community. Our work certainly isn't yet done, but the progress is simply awesome. President Trump has consistently made it clear to me to do everything in EPA’s power everyday to help the cause and we have been proudly hard at work to do our part to assist.

Held a meeting with @EPA Chief of Staff, Eric Amidon, @EPARegion2 Regional Administrator Mike Martucci, Jeffrey Hall, Assistant Administrator for @EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance to discuss key infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening Puerto Rico’s water and wastewater systems.

These initiatives will help modernize critical services, protect public health, and advance environmental improvements that will positively benefit communities across the Island.

With support from funding allocated by the U.S. Department of Energy (@ENERGY), $21.2 million is being invested to repair and strengthen Units 2 and 3 at the Cambalache Power Plant. Repairs to Unit 3 (80 MW) were completed in March, while repairs to Unit 2 are expected to be completed by December.

PSA: Wear sunscreen and get your skin checked.

I’m grateful to the incredible medical team at Walter Reed Medical Center who recently fully removed basal cell carcinoma (BCC) from my face.

I’m relieved to be cancer-free, and I want to share my experience to help raise awareness for you and the people you care about.

It started as a small, pearl-colored, dome-shaped lesion on my nose. After a biopsy, it came back positive for BCC.

Fortunately, BCC is a very common and typically slow-growing form of skin cancer. My dermatologist removed it using Mohs surgery, a precise technique that ensures all cancerous tissue is eliminated.

Following the surgery, a plastic surgeon reconstructed part of my nose using cartilage from behind my ear and a local skin flap to restore the area.

Like many people, there were plenty of moments in my life when I spent time in the sun without sunscreen. That was a mistake. Consistently using SPF 30 or higher and getting regular skin checks can go a long way in preventing this.

Working from home today, catching up on Landman, watching the 2027 Super Bowl Champion NY Giants play the Washington Commanders, and hanging with my awesome wife.

Please encourage your friends and family to wear sunscreen and see a dermatologist regularly. Early detection matters. 🙏

In her latest defense of the indefensible, Genius Jasmine Crockett, JD, now claims the donation I received from Dr. Jeffrey Epstein was BEFORE the other Jeffrey Epstein died. That is a LIE and she knows it, hoping there would be no push back from the TV host. The FEC record she has cited as her source shows the date of the donation I received as well AFTER the other Jeffrey Epstein was dead.

Also, note that at the end she says, “I can agree that Lee Zeldin has said that he didn’t receive money from THE Jeffrey Epstein”, implying that her lie could still be true even though it’s obviously not, even though she previously conceded that I “cleared the record”, AND even though the record she has referenced herself as her source says the donation I received was from a physician who donated to me AFTER the other Jeffrey Epstein was dead.

More FAKE NEWS from the Democrats and their media allies!

First off, the EPA-approved single fluorinated compounds are NOT “forever chemicals”, NOT PFAS, and also NOT a new concept.

In fact, it was the BIDEN ADMIN in a public rulemaking that defined PFAS in 2023, and guess what, it specifically excluded single fluorinated compounds, so the Democrats aren’t just fear mongering, they are outright lying.

Sound, gold standard science is what drives ALL of these reviews. It’s the only way to operate.

I don’t make the laws. I only follow them…to a tee, and EPA has very clearly defined statutory obligations we must adhere to under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).

In EXTREMELY EXTENSIVE studies, NO human health risks of concern were identified when Cyclobutrifluram and Isocycloseram are used according to the label.

The Trump EPA proudly and unapologetically is totally committed to always advancing the healthiest, most abundant food supply possible!
