Stop being faithful to a corporation for whom you're a number in a db. They sell a product. If the product is worthwhile to you at its price point, use it.
Personally, I've been skeptical of Anthropic since last winter. Seemed like it was memed into its must-use status, while the difference between their models and OpenAI remained negligible for the vast majority of use cases. At the same time, Anthropic was compute constrained and overpriced.
On the PR level, for all the bickering and rumors about Altman, Anthropic seemed worse to me. They ranged from wildly pretentious to seemingly malicious.
I've used both, plus several others, and lots of local LLMs. I'd try to avoid becoming dedicated to any third party company, but I certainly don't understand being faithful to Anthropic.

@forgebitz It was a cool ad. There are different audiences and the less technical ones like high level cleanly presented finished products that are easy to use. They're not interested in seeing what's under the hood or having to think abstractly about use cases.
