@ericfarns Whetever else the Chávez govt of 2006-13 was, it was a legitimately elected one, and one with which USG admins of both parties had full diplomatic relations, which Angelo helped manage. He then left a few months after Maduro assumed the presidency, for reasons only he can tell.
