Inventor / fanatic all things space and rockets. Holder of 6 Rocket Catch and Landing Patents with my 3 sons such as 11,738,890 & 12,503,253 See allowed claims
My sons and I hold numerous patents for catching rockets. We continue to try to get Elon / SpaceX to buy or license our IP. (See extended Bio) I asked Grok the following question about claims 1-7 of our patent 11,738,890. The answer is pretty clear, although Grok has a hard time recognizing the things commonly referred to as Catch Pins are Hook-type mechanisms:

An incredible dollar figure! Definitely indicative of a solid focus on space based Ai using Starship’s projected competitive edge and the knowledge gained from Starlink!
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models.
For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon.
We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities
.@Starcloud_ CEO @PhilipJohnston expects SpaceX to have a "near monopoly on launch" for the next 5–10 years:
"Starship is way ahead of any other program."
"The manufacturing that they're ramping up is insane—like building three Starships per day potentially with their gigafactories."
"The problem with Blue Origin's rocket is, they don't have a reusable upper stage. As I understand, they're not even really trying to build a reusable upper stage."
"The way they talk about pricing is they say, 'We will be as good as the next best price from Falcon 9.'"
"Which, for people who don't know, the next best price from Falcon 9 is like 5x the price of Falcon 9."
I tried to inspire my 3 sons to dare to dream and invent… and together the 4 of us did, resulting in Catching Rockets and my direct interaction with Elon in the fall of 2018.
I’m happy for the amazing employees and engineers at SpaceX! Onwards and Upwards!
Congrats to @elonmusk and @SpaceX on the largest IPO in history. Tens of thousands worked to tackle some of the hardest engineering problems imaginable, revolutionizing an industry in service of their nation and humanity, are now fully realizing the American Dream🇺🇸
May this moment spark many more companies like it across the domains of the future, unlocking new capabilities and prosperity for those who dare to dream.
So much of everything the SpaceX IPO trumpets relies on Starships Rapid Reusability… Rapid Reusability relies on Catch! So where does that put Catch? It’s a Keystone to the plans of the IPO…
A Falcon 9 rocket exploded on a launch pad as part of a static fire test in Florida ten years ago. What can Blue Origin learn from this?

The pod from god is something we’ve been expecting for a while. I didn’t expect it to be seemingly optimized for pez. Which in theory accelerates the timeline to P2P cargo and in-space manufacturing market development (in theory order). Some big contract will be announced in 2-3 years and everyone will be scrambling to figure out what they missed.
New Glenn explosion has sunk in. Its truly a pity because the BO team have done phenomenal work and am sure they’ll be back better and stronger.
This does however further deepen the moat SpaceXAi has on launch and, more importantly in terms of revenue, the lead Starlink has on SatCom
Couldn’t agree more with Shana. Thinking about the entire team at Blue. We’ve been there before and there are very few things worse than losing a vehicle on the pad. Remember @blueorigin, it’s the darkest before the dawn and you will be measured not by this anomaly, but by how you respond. We are all rooting for you to get safely back to flight as soon as possible!
