@DrKCarlson Thanks for giving me the opportunity to participate in my first Twitter chat! It was an awesome discussion tonight. Looking forward to growing my PLN and joining in more in the future!
@NoahBrenden Great point, Noah! The job title we have doesn't have to set limitations on us. There are so many leaders around us and I am also eager to grow my PLN!
@DrKCarlson A4 Knowing what my leadership strengths are will help me to continue to grow as a leader and know how to work with others who have strengths similar to and different from my own. #ED634
@DrKCarlson A3 The Gallup Strengths test results were very accurate and it was great to see myself in the examples that were given in the readings. For each of the five strengths, I could think of many examples of each strength shining through in my educational practices. #ED634
@Lyndsay098@Mr_Linders@DrKCarlson This! Even when in a leadership role, we need to lean on others to continue growing and remember that we can find many experts on various subject areas within our buildings who will be a huge help to us! #ED634
@tbTeach2@DrKCarlson Great point Trevor! Now that we know what our leadership strengths are, we need to use them to our advantage to continue to grow as leaders - not just forget about them!
@DrKCarlson A2 As you lead, you will continue to develop in your strengths. It is important to also reflect and grow in your weaknesses, but realize that you are not going to be an expert on every single topic. That is where your leadership team can help you out the most! #ED634
@DrKCarlson A1 Using your strengths as a leader allows you to be confident in the work you are doing because you are being true to yourself. Others will notice this and develop a trust and confidence in you. #ED634
