Update on @AmericanAir - after they refused to allow the first leg to be canceled and I had to cancel my entire birthday trip because of it; they end up offering NEARLY $1,000 TO SKIP THE LEG THAT WE TRIED TO CANCEL. Can I sue for emotional damages??? What a horrible company.
@AmericanAir today I learned never to fly with you because you have no respect for โbasic economyโ travelers or COVID clauses in addition to really nasty customer service representatives. Youโve lost a customer and weโll likely ensure you lose more. @united does better than you.
How is it that missing one leg of a flight cancels the entire itinerary? If someone has to cancel one of 3 flights, and doesnโt ask for a refund, why canโt you just allow it? Ridiculous business.
