Martyrdom of Havildar Jangkhokai Kuki, Assam Rifles, in Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh

1. On 29 September 2026, at approximately morning hours, a patrol party of the Assam Rifles was attacked near Nampong Nallah along the Indo-Myanmar International Border in Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh.

2. In the ensuing attack, Havildar Jangkhokai Kuki, 42, attained martyrdom in the line of duty while in service to the nation.

3. Havildar Jangkhokai Kuki was a native of Maphou Village, Kangpokpi District, which was razed to the ground during an arson attack perpetrated by Meitei secessionist narco-terrorist outfits, namely the People's Liberation Army (PLA), United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and Arambai Tenggol, on 30 May 2023 at about 1500 hrs. He is survived by his wife and children.

4. As per preliminary information, the involvement of cadres of the NSCN (K-YA) faction is suspected. Security forces have initiated comprehensive search operations in the area to apprehend the perpetrators.

Historical imagery on Google Earth clearly indicates that "Pilong Village" did not exist as of April 2018. How, then, did a full-fledged village emerge and proliferate along the Indo-Myanmar border by November 2019 — within a span of merely seven months?

This does not constitute natural demographic growth; rather, it appears to be a planted settlement akin to Namlee. These are strategic outposts established overnight. Therefore, the pertinent question arises: who are these so-called "Tangkhul villagers" and what is their actual place of origin? Evidence never lies.

Are they Burmese Tangkhul citizens hailing from the Somra Tract of Myanmar? The authorities concerned must initiate swift and decisive action to ensure their immediate deportation.

THE TRUE MEASURE OF A MAN'S CHARACTER IS REFLECTED IN HOW HE TREATS WOMEN.

The Kuki-Zo community continues to permit women from Yaikongpao, also known as Tagramphung, and Daili to freely procure their daily necessities in Kangpokpi town. Kangpokpi endures as a sanctuary for individuals from all walks of life.

In stark contrast, the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM narco-terrorists exhibited unparalleled barbarity, showing no mercy even to a five-year-old child, a woman in the third month of pregnancy, and a twenty-one-year-old woman who had ventured out to gather vegetables and herbs. More alarmingly, their elected representatives and various Civil Society Organization leaders continue to justify such atrocities.

This contrast, in its entirety, epitomizes the fundamental disparity in moral character between the two communities.

It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the untimely demise of Miss Kimboi Singson.

Having recently completed her graduation from the Nurse Training Academy, she had returned to her native place with the noble intent of supporting her family. Today, she was tragically murdered in cold blood, allegedly by cadres of the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson.

She nurtured a profound aspiration to excel in the medical and hospitality sector and was deeply committed to serving her family, her community, and the nation of India.

Her untimely death is an irreparable loss, not only to her family but also to the community at large. One is compelled to ask: for how long will the killing of innocent, unarmed civilians, including children and the elderly, satisfy the bloodlust of the Tangkhul NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson?

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

The Plight of the Orphaned Children of Late Mr. Seineh Singsit and Late Mrs. Lhingzangai Singsit of L. Tollen Village.

On the morning of 13th September 2026, Master Seiboineng Singsit (14 years) and his younger brother, Master Lhunkhohao Singsit (8 years), of L. Tollen Village, were rendered orphans under tragic circumstances.

Their mother, Mrs. Lhingzangai Singsit, was killed on the spot, while their father, Mr. Seineh Singsit, succumbed to bullet injuries five hours after the attack, perpetrated by cadres of the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson.

Both children are bona fide students of Children Learning English School, Kaimai Village, an institution managed by Salvation.

At present, Master Lhunkhohao Singsit (8 years) remains critically injured and is undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College, Silchar, Assam.

The incident raises a grave humanitarian question: what was the fault of an 8-year-old child, of women and elderly persons, that warranted being shot at point-blank range?

The NSCN-IM, ZUF-Kamson, the elected representatives of the Naga community, the intellectual fraternity of the Naga community, and the various Naga civil society organizations must be held accountable and must answer for this heinous act.

In the event of his survival, Master Lhunkhohao Singsit, who has barely turned eight, will be left solely under the care of his minor sister, Miss Seiboineng Singsit, who herself has barely turned fourteen, without any parental support, guidance, or guardianship.

At approximately 04:00 hours today, armed cadres of the NSCN-IM (Tangkhul faction) and its affiliate group, ZUF (Kamson faction), carried out a violent attack on L. Tollen Village, Tamenglong District, Manipur.

During the course of the attack, Mrs. Lhingngai Singsit, wife of Mr. Seineh Singsit, was brutally killed, while Mr. Seineh Singsit and his two sons sustained grievous injuries. According to ground reports, the injured remain in critical condition.

▪︎● The criminal to whom he handed over the drones is currently wanted by the @NIA_India , CBI & Police in connection with the looting of thousands of Weapons from Manipur Police Training college (MPTC) & 7th Indian Reserve Battalion Armouries at Pangei.

▪︎● ​According to CBI chargesheet, it was established that Korounganba Khuman alias Ngangbam Tyson, Khwairakpam Robin Singh alias Robin Mangang jointly planned & executed the arms heist with an intention to kill Security Forces.
The severity of the crime is reflected in the charges against him & his organisation. The accused have not only been booked under standard provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & the Arms Act, but also thet also face stringent anti-terror prosecution under Sections 16, 18 & 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

▪︎● Licypriya herself described the intended use in extraordinarily explicit terms claiming, these drones would "enable our forces to stealthily infiltrate enemy territory under the cover of darkness without detection" and allow bombs "to be deployed to target civilians from afar without ever needing to step foot inside." Those same drones are now in the hands of terrorist organisations & have been used in attacks against Indian Armed Forces.

▪︎● This is the same man who had helped arm & equip Myanmar-based Terrorists who infiltrated into India to aid the Meiteis in their fight against the Kukis in 2023.

▪︎● Further, members of his own community have publicly accused him of misappropriating crowdfunded money for personal benefit and his own business ventures in Delhi & Manipur.

Regrettably, you have chosen to act as a mouthpiece and agent of the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM. Without undertaking any fact-finding exercise or in-depth study, you, along with several MLAs reportedly selected by the NSCN-IM, submitted a letter to the Hon'ble Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah Ji, against your colleague, Smt. Nemcha Kipgen, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, merely to appease the NSCN-IM and certain unemployed Meitei elements.

Your ill-considered action and evident bias against the Kuki-Zo community shall not be forgotten and shall be remembered by all sections of society, irrespective of any subsequent apology.

You are advised to exercise greater caution and maturity before making such unfounded statements in the public domain in the future. You will henceforth be remembered as a mouthpiece and sympathizer of the NSCN-IM, an organization widely regarded as secessionist and involved in narco-terrorism.

Furthermore, even the report of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has clearly specified that her husband had no role or involvement in the matter. In this regard, the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Smt. Nemcha Kipgen, is well within her rights to press charges against you and your fellow MLAs, who act as mouthpieces selected by the NSCN-IM and certain unemployed Liangmai-Meitei elements, for defaming her and her husband. However, she will not stoop to your level.

▪︎●​On August 27 morning, Kuki farmers tending to their fields near Wakotphai came under attack by NSCN-IM & its proxies, prompting a defensive response from Kuki village volunteers.

▪︎●Amidst the engagement, an inbound vehicle ferrying reinforcement or a drone team wearing combat gear & equipped with a Chinese drone & six weapons (including rifles & an AK) was intercepted speeding toward the active conflict zone. The encounter resulted in four fatalities, among them a private school principal & the Chawangkining Village Authority chairman.

▪︎●Digital evidence widely circulating online in the aftermath of the encounter shows the recovery of six Weapons (including an AK-series rifle) & a military-grade Chinese drone from the occupants of the vehicle. This heavy armament directly challenges the narrative that the vehicle's occupants were "unarmed civilians."

▪︎●A full security investigation must be launched immediately, starting with the thorough interrogation of the surviving occupant to uncover their true mission, exact motives, affiliations & intent in speeding toward an ongoing attack zone, armed with Military grade chinese drones & AKs.

The root of the problem is that the two communities have developed deep mistrust and hatred toward each other and here you are contributing more to it , This is an internal conflict, and the Indian Army is not there to resolve every dispute between civilians. The Indian Army operates under the Constitution and the elected government, it does not take orders from theatre artists or public commentators like you. You want Indian army to shoot other tribe, but when your own people protest in Imphal burning houses you will cry for human right violation and what not if army acts against your community.

Before lecturing others, your community should also be willing to acknowledge and call out the wrongs committed within its own house . Meaningful dialogue begins with introspection, not selective outrage.

Ahead of the planned protest on 11 July 2026, the Indian Army shared advance intelligence with the State Administration through written communication and telephonic coordination. Despite the prior warning, no additional forces or effective preventive measures were deployed.

The Indian Army exercised maximum restraint, employing all available non-lethal crowd-control measures to manage the situation. Troops successfully prevented nearly 50 attempted arson incidents and a potentially large-scale ethnic clash. During the operation, crowd dispersal was carried out without causing injuries to civilians. Although two houses were set ablaze during the unrest, Army personnel acted swiftly to extinguish the fires and prevent further damage. The conduct of the civil administration remains a separate matter for assessment.

Subject: Urgent Appeal for Immediate Release of Pu K. Lhouvum (Retd. IDES), Chief of Hengjang Village.

Sir,

I wish to bring to your kind attention the arbitrary arrest of Pu K. Lhouvum (Retd. IDES), Chief of Hengjang village under Leimakhong Police Station and a selfless public leader, at Leimakhong yesterday. The action is highly condemnable and unwarranted.

Pu K. Lhouvum is a man of integrity and a well-known public leader to all communities in the said areas and beyond. He has neither condoned any form of violence nor harbored any intention to cause harm to any community. Rather, he has consistently apprised the concerned authorities of the plight of the common people in the Leimakhong area.

In light of the above, I respectfully submit that the authorities should instead hold Lok Sabha MP @Bimol_Akoijam accountable for his provocative speech delivered yesterday, his biased interference, and for publicly mocking and attacking the Indian Armed Forces and the Manipur Police regarding the alleged unprofessional conduct at Leimakhong.

I therefore urge the concerned authorities to ensure the safe and immediate release of Pu K. Lhouvum.
