Great to host @gdb at @Uber HQ this week. We’ve worked closely with @gdb and the @OpenAI team for several years, and it’s remarkable how much has changed.

The first piece of work we did with ChatGPT years ago was with our support team, tinkering with a 4K context window :-). That’s hard to imagine now.

Now we’re using the latest frontier models to automate engineering workflows at global scale, moving into the era of agentic engineering.

Today we’re expanding agentic capabilities across the whole company. Following a 1,000-person pilot, we’re rolling out ChatGPT Work from @OpenAI for Business to every Uber employee. We’ve seen the shift in engineering, moving from AI helping with individual tasks to completing whole workflows, and we want to bring that same shift to teams across the business.

I’ve spoken before about the ‘AI pods’ we launched earlier this year, pairing AI engineers with teams across Uber to improve how work gets done. One team reduced the time needed for an intense capital allocation process covering 150 cities from 15 hours to 30 minutes. That’s what I love about applied AI: combining the latest technology with the expertise of people on the ground to completely rethink what’s possible. Now we want to do that at scale.

Uber has always been a company of builders, and every day millions of people around the world rely on what we create. I can’t wait to see what the team builds.

hey @elonmusk latest FSD feels like i’m having an aneurysm. breaks dont break at once(it jerks once before fully stopping), it cant commit to a lane change (turns signal on, turns it off, then on, it swerves sometimes).

also on Hurry/mad max, its super trigger happy to change lanes its actually unusable.

please fix this

"Our initial evaluation suggested that GPT-6-Astra's score was in the late eighties followed closely by Opus 5.5. But, as we started to investigate the mistakes that the models might have made, the models, especially Astra, insisted that they were right and that it was the expert-supplied answers that were erroneous. When we went back to the experts it turned out, in multiple instances, that that the experts found some subtle errors buried deep inside their calculations. As they revised their answers, Astra's score started to inch up and it finally ended up with 98% (49/50)."

here’s from my dot:

* Cloud browser: works logged out. I can read Tibo’s profile, recent posts, individual posts, quoted posts and some replies. Full replies, the Media tab and X search hit login prompts.
* Cloud desktop: works through screenshots and clicks. It controls the same Chrome browser, so it has the same access and limits.
* Cloud terminal / direct HTTP: works. Both his profile and a specific post returned HTTP 200 with actual readable post text and some replies, without credentials.
* Web reader: fails with 403 on those same two URLs. The error doesn’t identify the cause.
* Your Mac: offline, so I couldn’t test its browser.
* Connected X plugin: none available in my tools.

Bottom line: I can read public X posts from my cloud browser or terminal without your Mac. I should have used those routes immediately instead of treating the web-reader failure as a general block.

X blocks web reader access in general, which is the same for all AI web-reader access. Claude’s chat cannot access X as well for the same reasons.

Chat and claude can both utilize x proxies or your dot can use the cloud browser, cloud desktop, or cloud terminals to read x.
