Institutions also require very low risk infrastructure and assets for key products such as collateral, settlement and cash management. Canton is addressing these key needs.

The Genius Bill is a good step forwards but Genius stablecoins are NOT legally the same as digitized treasuries as they are exposed to the operational risk of their issuer and other service providers. The bankruptcy process has issues too.
