Washington Township/Avon Fire Department Local 4406 members rescued a #dog after it ran into a ravine. Once the dog was retrieved, the ravine was too steep to ascend. #Firefighters utilized a low angel rope system to safely remove the dog from the ravine. #indiana

.@Elkhart338 members rescued a woman and 2 children from a Sunday morning house fire. Units reported heavy fire on arrival, with trapped occupants calling for help from a second-story window. Crews made a rapid rescue of the occupants, along with two pets. All in good condition.
