@WalterHudson For a government representative, your grasp of law regarding who would possess a US passport is severely lacking. You should go back and take a real Government class, not at Grok U.
@Freespeech34590@allenanalysis There are 1000 people calling you a fucking idiot and they are correct. Due Process means they had a trial, were able to present a defense, and had a jury or judge decide their fate. Congratulations on being a full fucking troll.
@ContraToady@StellaParton Only concerned with legal efforts. I generally frown on Extrajudicial solutions. In office, the Constitution applied to his actions, and the legal efforts there failed due to party loyalty, not because he wasn't guilty. Jury nullification is the term.
@ContraToady@StellaParton Per DOJ policy, they couldn't touch him until Jan 20, 2021. His lawyers challenged every decision, and each challenge takes 2-3 months. In FL, the judge delayed. They challenged the people prosecuting him. The clock ran out Nov 6, 2024.
@ContraToady@StellaParton He ran the clock out and had stooges in key positions to slow things down. New York State is the only place that wasn't 100% tied in, which is why he was convicted there and lost the civil trials.
@OhRick4 I'm trying to figure out where Mr. Trump is Constitutionally banned from taking office? Only bans would be post impeachment or an interpretation of the 14th that acknowledged his role in the insurrection, and the Supreme Court would end up deciding. π
@splitta000@pellmellkell@KTDaniels@dave_hegan@CanadianZoro@TBRN2365@maddenifico The US is already producing oil at an all-time high. And creating jobs that will last with the green ones. The numbers are there for anyone not wrapped in the "Biden bad for economy" bubble to see. What policy of the incoming administration will increase maxed production?
@LyaneLloyd@mentorcapital1@TheRealDon85 Those who do not learn from history...
Americans of Japanese ancestry were rounded up and put in detention camps.
Americans of Mexican ancestry were rounded up and deported.
With the documents you have in your hand or on your body right this moment, can you prove citizenship?
@Crawdadddy42@LadyBlueInCA@jclavel@waltermasterson My dear sweet child, you include asylum seekers in your definition of illegals. Which means you are ignoring the law for your whims. Hypocrisy is fun isn't it?
@Crawdadddy42@LadyBlueInCA@jclavel@waltermasterson Youth. Funny, but the "right way" is based on the laws in place *at the time*. The laws can be changed. If you were actually a US citizen, you would know that. So what country did your father come from, and when?
@Crawdadddy42@LadyBlueInCA@jclavel@waltermasterson Compliance with an unfair law has never been a thing. Usually you get the law changed, however there has been a lot of resistance in fixing immigration laws for some strange reason. Kind of like someone wanted to make it a campaign issue instead of dealing with it.
