The team and I have been working hard to give you a new ENS app!
This alpha release is all about getting your feedback, help shape ENSv2 by telling us what you think! ✏️
Claiming an ENS name will get a lot simpler with ENSv2.
The ENS App Alpha is now live on Sepolia
Faster registration, stablecoin payments, notifications, chain and wallet abstraction, and a redesigned dashboard.

The upcoming ENS App is built differently.
It started with a simple realization: the hardest part was not deciding what to include, but deciding what to leave out. 🧵

While my team was on a mission to give you https://t.co/U2hlYLwDOr alpha, @domicoeth’s team was crafting the ENS Explorer for builders expanding the ecosystem. Different tools, same goal: making ENS better for everyone.

Another day, another alpha launch.
The ENS Explorer Alpha is now live on Sepolia.

If you’re an active builder on XMTP and building in the @world_chain_@base@zora@privy_io@turnkeyhq@ensdomains ecosystems — and/or building chat apps, agents, mini-apps, infra, tooling w/ XMTP — you can request access here.
Websites shouldn’t vanish because one service goes down. ENS @IPFS@safe and @Filecoin make it possible to publish decentralized sites that stay reachable even when parts of the web fail.

Could’ve used this when Figma slides went down right as I was about to show a sneak peak of the new ENS app during our town hall talk this morning at Devconnect 😓. @zoink have you considered decentralized rails?
Today’s outage of Cloudflare was a serendipitously timed reminder that we need to move away from centralized infra.
I had the honor to present at @depinday a solution that combines @ensdomains, @Filecoin Onchain Cloud and @safe to create a simple and secure deployment pipeline to publish websites and apps in a decentralized way.
It‘s so easy that I literally was able to help people on the ground to republish their docs to this stack, which were unavailable because of the Cloudflare outage.
😥 thanks! Even just a ‘generate static backup link’ view-only version to IPFS/Arweave as extra insurance for big presentations would be huge - doesn’t need to be the whole platform, just a safety net for those critical moments. We were presenting the offline version of the slides but in this case it wasn’t though.
ENS in action today at the App Town Hall.
@domicoeth & @erni_eth did a deep dive into the ENS App & ENS Explorer. Two focused products each tailored to the diverse needs of our users.
ENS is moving Namechain to @Nethermind's Surge, a based rollup framework built on the @taikoxyz stack.
We have always believed that based sequencing and native rollups best support the core values of decentralization necessary for Namechain: fast finality, Ethereum-native settlement, and censorship resistance.
A very happy Friday with exciting news to share: we’re hosting the first Ethereum App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ together with @nounsdao, @octantapp, @aave, @ensdomains and @poapxyz at devconnect next week!
This is not a marketing event. In good ol’ town hall fashion, the teams are pulling back the curtains on their operations and sharing their roadmaps in this open forum.
The State of Apps of Ethereum
18 November, 10 AM - 6 PM
Amphitheater, La Rural
Limited space available! Make sure to register (link in the comments).
Here’s to the next chapter of building the world computer!
First time playing together, but I think ENS is fielding a stellar global team for the @Uniswap cup on Sunday:
- 🇷🇺@wijuwiju0x played a few matches with Lokomotiv Moskva in '93
- 🇺🇸@Rachaelross_ played keeper at NYU and showed the boys in argentina that women _can_ play
- 🇺🇸@BenLLS, a legend in nycfooty circles, playing 4 days a week
- 🇨🇦 @erni_eth went to provincials with her high school soccer team and coached in shanghai
- 🇩🇪 @davidvfurlong top goal scorer of the (very casual) sunday league during university
- 🇳🇬 @judicodes who plays street football on the weekends
- 🇳🇿 @blockchainjames who is a self-assessed 6.5/10 defender
- 🇨🇭 @schmidsi who hasn't played goalie in a while, but will be fearless alongside 🇺🇸 @Esk3nder who may be playing in jordans ;)
- 🇺🇸 and yours truly, humble captain, who learned footy as a kid playing for juventus USA
