More Democrats voted to keep government open than Republicans did.
We had to drag your party kicking and screaming across the finish line to fund schools and pay servicemembers.
And that was after you wasted the whole week on a joke impeachment hearing as shutdown loomed
Not to be the journalism police, but I don’t think you should publish pieces saying Trump is going to “address striking autoworkers” when he is not in fact going to address striking autoworkers. What are we doing here?
AOC: Mr. Turley, simple question for you. In your testimony today, are you presenting any first-hand witness account of crimes committed by the president of the United States?
Turley: No, I'm not.
It is important to remember that many historical strikes have been met with extreme state violence, especially here in Minnesota. Research the 1934 Truckers Union Strike and 1959 Meatpacking Workers Strike. Support strikers and condemn SCABS.
Striking to fight for a better life is a sacred right. We will NOT tolerate violence against our picket lines from the companies or the scabs they hire. Period.

"I shouldn't have elaborated the fundamental contradiction within capitalism, ie that in a system of abundant production, the owning classes must nonetheless work to maintain, through mass intentional deprivation, brutal material insecurity among people who work for a living"
i like teaching lefty theory as much as the next guy but I can rarely do better at explaining the connection between capital and social-political domination than just pointing at what the guys with the capital do and say
Gurner Group founder Tim Gurner tells the Financial Review Property Summit workers have become "arrogant" since COVID and "We've got to kill that attitude." https://t.co/lcX3CCxGuj
@RepFischbach@WaysandMeansGOP@HouseGOP@POTUS You should be impeached for your open support of Jan 6. Resign in disgrace! Biden is going to laugh his way to victory because of this comically transparent sham.
Today, Medicare announced the first 10 drugs selected for negotiation under President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.
These drugs are used to treat some of the most common diseases – and in 2022, it cost seniors up to $6,497 in out-of-pocket costs for just one of these drugs.
@RepFischbach@HouseGOP You're completely wrong. The labor shortage in your district is BECAUSE OF LOWER IMMIGRATION. We could eliminate 70+% of open job requests if we got back to pre-trump immigration levels. Fear monger.
Big update: We just swarmed a major fundraiser on Nantucket Island benefitting Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey. We demanded she ban new fossil fuel projects. She refused. So we shut down her whole event. She fled.
