I was speaking to someone on Thursday and I was explaining the concept of discipline. One of its key traits is the ability to ignore your emotions and feelings, and instead, stick to the plan. This is because you are confident that the plan will work and you have the capacity to see it through. So, your feelings are very temporary.
If you want to achieve anything great, it needs to become your one true priority. The only thing on your mind. Nobody accidentally got rich from business. Nobody accidentally built a great physique. They were obsessed with it for multiple years until it became their default.
The older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure.
If you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new really happens.
You have to tackle the world to win.
Travel more. Talk to people. Try a breakfast spot. Post on social media. Start a side hustle or a hobby.
The world rewards motion. You don't find opportunity sitting still.
@primal_brainer The world also rewards depth.
The guy who stayed in one place for a decade and became undeniable in his field got luckier than the guy who networked at 40 conferences.
Motion gets you noticed. Mastery gets you chosen.
Grateful to photograph @eruditeg1 tech-savvy, music-loving, and fervent in spirit. Diligent in business, serving the Lord with excellence. 🙌🏾

The cheat code nobody talks about: Being reliable. Answer emails quickly. Show up on time. Do what you said. Keep small promises. Remember details. In a world where everyone is flaky, reliability looks like genius. It's not talent.
You inspired the entire nation.
You are the pride of Nigeria.
On behalf of all Nigerians, home and abroad, we say
Thank You, our Super Falcons @NGSuper_Falcons

Whatever your field is, try to build out some proof of work that demonstrates it eg a product, a project, some kind of demo.
Truth is, clients, employers, investors, don't care as much about potential or credentials, just what you have produced already without help.
Always bet on yourself.
I cannot emphasize this enough.
It is OK for them to write you off, but never write yourself off.
Let them doubt you, but never doubt yourself.
They judge you by what you have done, that's fine.
But you should judge yourself by what you know you are capable of.
Take the leap.
Shoot the shot.
Fight.
You may win.
Major cheat code in life: Understanding you can reinvent yourself at any time. New habits, new standards, new friend group, new career, etc. There's no rule that says you have to stay the person you've always been. You're allowed to decide––"I'm done being this version of me."
