3/3 It's going to be a compelling 2026 with even more progress on new business opportunities these innovations unleash, not just the underlying technologies themselves!
1/3 It's been almost 3 years since I posted this and #AI has hit overdrive while #blockchain has steadily grown. AI needs no explanation with most orgs leveraging multiple tools on a daily basis and even the laggards experimenting to see what works.
It feels like we'll finally stop categorizing companies as #AI companies or #blockchain companies soon because almost all organizations will integrate both technologies in some form. What do you think? Are we at an inflection point? ๐ก๐๐ #artificalintelligence#web3#innovation
2/3 Blockchain marches forward with true use cases such as @Artizen and @Trustware_io (full disclosure I am an investor in each) gaining traction daily.
Good read on how #China's military capabilities are impressive, #Russia's less so, but they each suffer gaps that prevent them from projecting power the way the US is doing in #Venezuela
Russia and China refrain from conducting similar missions not because of a supposed norm against extracting leaders they consider illegitimate, but because they lack the capability to do so, argues Decker Eveleth. https://t.co/Z56rLz2T0e
4. Last but least be patient. Push accountability. This is a 2-3 year process at minimum. It all starts with the culture and the QB. Ask #SamDarnold or #GenoSmith.
2. @woodyjohnson4 please step back. Let the management team manage. In season no heavy handed actions. Give the new team a year or two to figure it out.
Reality:
1. Hire a solid GM and HC. Top candidates will opt out. Above average will consider it in spite of the dysfunction. And the hometown options. (Thatโs you #AaronGlenn and #RexRyan)
2. Aaron Rodgers moves on. Glad he went out in style today, but this has been a poor fit for a long time. Likelihood: 90%. Why? Poor play, bad culture fit.
Wish List
1. @woodyjohnson4 sells the team. Respect to trust fund babies but little understanding of how to run a business. Likelihood: 10%. Why? Itโs a great investment and the team value goes up almost every year.
Great time yesterday joining @Wharton's course on #Blockchain, #Cryptocurrencies, and Digital Assets as a guest judge. Always a good time being back on campus and meeting the next generation of leaders.

I hear you. Always a risk of cannibalizing. But I have to think the more polished projects are going to go directly to the commercial metaverses.
The experimental metaverse would be for trying new ideas or new people getting on board as builders. There might be some overlap but I definitely see it more as a feeder to commercial metaverses if executed right.
And you and the @Improbableio@MSquared_io teams are smart so you have my vote ser!
@RJFWhite@MSquared_io Like the idea. No need to recreate the wheel. Bringing the concept of Second Life Sandboxes to web3 and especially making it interoperable will raise all boats
1. Provide a non-judgemental place for anyone to experiment with building in the metaverse - not just senior devs.
2. Do a monthly showcase for groups to show what theyโre building. The community or @Improbableio can choose who gets to showcase.
3. Let the community vote on the winner each month.
4. Utilize partnerships with other metaverses for the winner to โgraduateโ to that metaverse.
5. Have the winner get some marketing / community support in the graduate metaverse to gain exposure.
It becomes a win-win-win. The experimental metaverse becomes a fun and interesting place to try new things. The graduate metaverse gets cool projects that are already supported by the community, so they have more usage and content. And more builders are brought into web3.
